“Relax, Thorne. Just saying hi.” I step out from the wall. Let the light hit my face. My hands are loose at my sides, my stance easy—but my eyes stay locked on his. “Fuck. Off.” There’s a beat of silence. Predators understand tone. They know the difference between a warning and a promise. The tallest shifts first, muttering something about “territorial” as they break formation. The others follow, trying to look casual. Failing. Now it’s just him and me. When I blinked and whispered something, she let out a shaky breath, whispering thanks to the heavens. Dad groaned weakly. He was alive but badly hurt, trapped against the steering wheel. Blood trickled from a deep cut on his forehead. Before we could catch our breath, a low, deep growl rumbled from outside the shattered windows. Then another. And another. Shadows moved through the smoke. Outside, huge wolves, circling us like predators stalking wounded prey. I opened my eyes a little and saw a huge black wolf walking toward the crash. As it got closer, it changed into a man. I froze. It was Alpha Damon. But how did he find us?

I don't know him and I didn't ask for his help in the first place for him to get mad like this. I turned and was about to leave the tent when I heard a growl of beast. I stiffened. "Don't test my temper human. I have a high respect with Axel but I won't hesitate to use force on you. You two were not official yet so I don't care if you're his.." He cleared his throat. "His friend." Who's Axel? I've been hearing that name since I woke up and they were calling him Alpha. I stared at the shadows that was passing by the tent. Am I in a wolf territory?

He's wearing armor down his neck to his feet. His head only is free from armors. But this armor does not prevent him from moving freely. He can move freely as he wants. He is wearing one big sparkling earring on his right ear. He has also super white skin like the prince. A pale one. Like a vampire. He has green eyes and also has eyeliner and a dark lipstick. Is this how aliens look? They're like idols wearing make up. Even though they look like villains in movies, they are both handsome.

The white mech spun drunkenly and collapsed, a gaping hole torn in its side. The other Axion mechs regrouped, turning their punishing fire on the exposed Exodus, who turned to flee. Laura let out a grunt of disapproval as a salvo of missiles pelted her, and began to retreat.
