The way he acted like everything was normal while everything inside me was shifting. I wrapped the covers tighter around me and shut my eyes, trying to force myself back into a dreamless sleep. Val put all the notes in her locker safely, she didn't know why she did that. Val had nightmares when she is alone in her house. Every time she would wake up with heavy heart. She don't know why she would get nightmares like she is drowning in darkness all the time. This started when she was eighteen. No one knows about her nightmares except Sheela. Sheela always suggested Val to start a relationship in order to get rid of nightmares but Val refused. When Jack is around she never had nightmares which confused her.
