Suddenly, the alpha's voice cuts through the chaos, commanding attention and silencing the commotion. "Enough!" his authoritative voice echoes through the air, and an immediate hush falls over the gathering. All eyes turn towards the entrance, their breaths catching in their throats. I said, glancing at my wristwatch. "Yes, the Alpha is currently in a conference meeting so I'm afraid you have to wait for him," she said politely, gesturing to the sit close by.
