I held my hand out, feeling mist and black smoke gather, forming into a cool length of metal that sang against my skin. The Sword lengthened as if from thin air and I hefted it, the weight gleaming black metal comforting in my hands. I slashed in the direction of Eryndor’s lunge and he twisted, barely managing to get out of the way. He tumbled to the ground behind me and leapt back to his feet, his eyes fixed solely on my weapon. Yman chose the sword that about 2 feet in length. It was laying beside the silver shortsword. The name of the sword was Gladius. It has a double edge. It wasn't too short and wasn't long at the same time. It cost 350 GP only. Much cheaper than the silver shortsword. And had an additional attack of +15, much lower compared to the shortsword.

The armor itself still seemed to be in good condition though, apart from a few scratches and white marks, I couldn’t find any obvious flaws which made me sigh in relief. If it was damaged, I had no idea how long it would take me to find some new armor that is of the same quality and in such good condition as well. Next up I picked up the sword.
