I cleared the first 50 meters, taking a rough corner that snagged my shirt just a bit when I saw a flash of something move. Getting into a kneeling position I let my fingers release the small throwing dagger from the pocket of my pants. I gripped it ready to fly it to my target when suddenly my dominant arm was ripped down by a German Shephard. The vicious beast shook me with all his might and caused me to fall backward. I felt it's teeth sank into my flesh and I groaned in both pain and frustration. I wasn't expecting this to be a part of the hunt tonight.

She snips. “And here is your finished sword.” Archie hands it to me with a proud smile. “The lighter streaks are veins of silver, so avoid touching the broadside." Archie and I ramp things up while Bronx and Hana watch us intently, calling out corrections and tips. “How does the harness feel, Lenora?” Bronx asks during a water break. “You look like you’re guarding your back.” I stop mid-sip. He’s fucking kidding, right? Justice bristles. A wave of anger rushes through me, making me throw the water bottle at him. “YOU hurt my back, asshole! Before the Mating Gathering last year.”

The door burst open snapping our attention to Axel by had just stepped in. "Axel stay back" I warned seeing that Sage was already beginning to acting up. "Go!" I yelled out. He stared at me contemplating whether to listen or not before he turned on his shoe leaving just me and Sage yet again. I rubbed on sage's shoulder trying to calm him down but his body was beginning to to shift back to the wolf form giving me a better view of his injured leg. I sucked in a breath seeing how the cut was so deep wondering where he had gotten himself into in the first place to get such pains.

Now, only power spoke. Gloria knelt first, laying a talon-shaped blade across her knees. Its hilt was carved from bone that pulsed faintly in the darkness, like a heartbeat echoing through the ground. The air grew colder around her, coiling like serpents, and her lips moved without sound. The frost crawling along her skin wasn’t entirely natural; it was the blade calling to her, the spirits whispering their obedience.

Not silver—black, obsidian, carved with symbols that seemed to drink the light. "The Shepherd's blade," she said. "She gave it to me before she died. As a promise." "A promise of what?" "That you would be the one to end me. Or I you." I drew my own blade. Simple steel. Dax's gift. "Then let's end it." --- She attacked. Not like the Breaker—wild, strong. The Arbiter was precise. Every strike calculated. Every movement efficient. I blocked. Dodged. Countered. She was faster than I expected.

I asked and pointed to the weapons. I did a double take when I saw the shining sword I was pointing at. Its hilt was made of gold and there were jewels embedded in it. I looked at the other weapons next to it and found that the entire section was filled with jewelled daggers, swords and sabres. Samurai swords, Katanas and even dual broadswords lined up on the shelf. Some of them looked so ancient that I was certain that their price would make me faint. Some of the swords were emanating a faint glow, and I realised that they were spelled weapons. I wondered what exactly they could do...

BLADE 3. Pain. It was all I felt when I shot my eyes opened. I felt so sore and tired. The memories of how Lorenzo plunged deeper into me last night filled my mind. He was so cruel to me. I didn't find any enjoyment in it at all. I tried lifting my hands and I was happy It was back to functioning. My tit hurts too as a result of the sucking he did last night.

The wooden handle was etched and the blade was engraved with symbols he didn’t understand. “The sword is spelled and blessed”, Ard’al said. Rainn took the blade from his hand and couldn’t believe how well balanced it was. “You start training using that tomorrow”, Ard’al called as he headed out the door.

Exactly as seen earlier in the castle. The sword. “What does that one do?” I asked, pointing to it. “It drinks blood. For anyone it kills, their blood is stored in the blade. You would try to always have a clothing between you and the hilt” That did not sound more beneficial than fairy dust. “So how useful would it be to protect me?” With only a smile, “very” Time to close the deal. “I have one silver coin” playing with the coins against my fingers. “Make it three and we have a deal”
