I groaned as I moved from the position I was in. The arrow met the ground and my eyes darkened with so much anger directed at the person on the tree. It was actually one of Alpha Seth's thugs who Alpha Trent wasn't able to kill before. I had never felt such rage in my entire life. It was like a volcano had erupted in my heart; it was this kind of vengeful anger that I had never felt in my life. I stared at Alpha Trent again and anger burned in me. I looked up again and growled.

He stares at it for a few moments, I swear his pulse quickens. “The healers, the elders and the fucking priest says the Gods are angered. Angered Dylan, what the fuck have I done! No, what the fuck have you done?!” I scream the last part at him. My rage explodes from me in waves as he steps back a mix of emotions on his face, he turns about to leave.

“But…” “Amira is right” Koa cut him off and stepped forward, placing a reassuring hand on Soren’s shoulder. “We know you didn’t mean to hurt us. It’s not your fault. You were angry and we all were. You just couldn’t control it” “And I should have been able to control my anger” Soren snapped, eyes flickering red “I’m the next Alpha for goddess’s sake. Fire? I’m a walking danger if I can now spurt fire out of my body whenever I get angry”

CHAPTER NINE — "Thrilled" I woke up angry. Not the clean kind of angry that has a clear source and a clear solution. My knuckles split open on the third punch and blood smeared across the white surface but I didn't stop. I couldn't stop.
