Avalea When I wake up, it’s evening. I have been drifting in and out of sleep throughout the day. A couple of hours ago when I woke up briefly, I ate the bread and the cheese the Werewolf had left for me. The bread was stale, the cheese was almost moldy, but with hunger gnawing at my innards, it was the most delicious thing I had ever eaten.

I asked Alice who was holding two story books on her hand as we made our way towards where my driver is waiting for us after school. "It a werewolf story and you gonna love it" she said smiling. "You can take this and read I am done reading it" she muttered giving me one of the books. "No thanks I don't read such" I mumble not interested to read it. "No you have to try it out. Aria, you will love it" she assured me. "Those books are not real all the stories I heard about werewolf are just fictional" I said rolling my eyes. "Hey, when You read this you will believe it and you can even fall in love with an alpha while reading this" she smiled at me.

“I’m going to find another book.” As Morgan moved away, Aria pawed at the old tattered book until it spun where she could read it. Using her nose so she would tear the pages, she turned the page to read more about these werewolves. After reading a few pages on the affects this lifestyle had on men, and the tactics used to infiltrate the packs, the text on the wolves ended.

Annie spent the rest of the afternoon catching up on some work for the following week as Hugh lay on the sofa reading the book that he had borrowed from her house, he found the chapter on Werewolves and started to read. “You sell this in the human world?” asked Hugh. “It tells them everything about us, how to hurt and kill us, isn’t that dangerous?” Annie looked round at him. “No, that book was published by wolf publishers for the wolf world. I wrote two versions, one for us and one for the humans.” “There are wolf publishers?” he looked surprised.

I scanned the trees in front of us and my eyes fell into the grass with rash movements, just near a chir pine tree. “Quinn, East!” I shouted as I felt something from the east running in our direction. Quinn nodded and immediately positioned her bow to release the arrow with poison. With a bolt, Quinn calmly let go of the arrow when a big brown werewolf appeared. This is our first time to see a brown-haired werewolf, most of the hunts we’ve been to have black or grey fur. “Brown?” Rendall asked as we saw the arrow hit its leg and growl in pain.

“Finally you can hear me, I’m trying to connect with you for at least 10 minutes.” What do you mean mate, Ari? We don’t have a mate. And you can’t smell one before I shift in a werewolf for the first time.” “Alpha Noah is our mate, he smells delicious. Mmmm, pineapple and morning dew. Our mate.” This had to be a joke, this can’t be true. Alpha Noah is my mate, I’m pregnant for 10 weeks, my parents will kill me the second I walk back to their house, and I’m currently lying in the hospital.

Audrey began to open pages of the big book and continued as she searched for any solution to this mystery but it seemed none was coming forth. "This is useless! There is no solution in this big book to this' ' Audrey exclaimed as she flipped each page back and forth. She was about to close it in frustration, when her eyes were drawn to something. It was a picture of two werewolves, a male and a female whose hands were bound together by a thread. Audrey snapped her fingers in the air and read out loud to the hearing of everyone.

It has an Italian written word, boldly written in golden shades. "Werewolves In America." I flipped through the first page, reading through the lines. There were a few names of werewolves who were said to have lived in the past two centuries when the werewolf breeds came into existence. I had to jump pages as I kept flipping through pages upon pages. I got to a certain page with a drawing of a werewolf Alpha. Its face looked quite scary, having a slight resemblance of the giant who had attacked me the previous night. I flinched at the loud sound of a book hitting the table. My heart skyrocketed for a brief moment. "What the fuck was that for?!" I yelled after seeing Nicole and Brenna.
