She shook her head in disbelief and disappointment at Beatrice. “You don’t understand. I'm uninterested in learning anything more about you. I know you’re nothing.” Her grey streaked hair shifted out of place as her emotional state continued to take a nosedive. “Oh, then perhaps I should take my gift back too as I leave. Yes, everyone will love that.” April said. She went to the now open closet that Beatrice had left open. Her blonde hair lay damp on her shoulder. She pulled out her suitcase.

Meanwhile, April, ever the open book when it came to her admiration for the male species, couldn’t contain her excitement. "Wow, he’s so handsome!" she blurted out, her eyes wide with genuine admiration. April’s words were loud enough to draw the attention of a few nearby students, but she was oblivious, too caught up in her own infatuation. April said angrily, raising her voice. "What could I do when you were nothing to me?" Erich asked in a faint tone, lowering his head. "Why? Didn't I have a heart which belongs to you?"
