April Reads Novels & Stories

Now we need to concentrate on getting my parents back'', John spoke with confidence and care. ''Wow, well said bro'', Alex said. *Clap* *Clap* *Clap* They all turned to the door where the clapping noise was coming from. Head mistress April walked in,her heels making clicking noises against the tiles. A beautiful smile adorned her cherry red lips. She was a beautiful woman for her age. At 60 she was well kept. ''A true leader, definetly a Smith'', Mrs April said. Her eyes were glowing with happiness when she looked at John.

she warned, earning an eye roll from scarlet. "I don't think you remember who you're talking to" she sassed and Amor nodded focusing back on her chocolate. ****** ****** April woke up as the sun shone through her room reflecting on her eyes. She fumbled around with her hand and finally found the shade control. She pressed it and the shades rolled down. She sat up, noticing the time. It was almost twelve. April stood up, got out of her room, and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. She stopped as she saw the meal on the dining table. She walked closer, noticing a written note beside the meal. She took it up and read.

I wish she’d juѕt lеt gо a little and ѕtор ѕtrеѕѕіng ѕо muсh аbоut thе dеtаіlѕ. April іѕ a рrоfеѕѕіоnаl worrier. She carries thе wоrld оn hеr shoulders. Shе has a rіght to bе ѕаd, but the truth іѕ thіѕ has bееn gоіng оn fоr years.

She was just lucky to get off the hook this time. April's thoughts were interrupted by the beeping of her phone, signifying that she had a new message. She had wanted to ignore it and just go to bed but on a second thought, she decided to check it out and sleep afterwards. So she picked up her phone and read the message. The message she read was one that left her both confused and in panic. 'I'll be coming back the day after tomorrow. I can not wait to see you. I missed you and I love you so very much' the message read.

she said as Autumn grabbed her hand. "Everyone deserves happiness, April," she said as April scoffed, "I am happy, I have money, a nice house, a beautiful daughter, a wonderful family, and my powerful dildo that vibrates," she replied as both Autumn and Rose cracked up, "Are you serious?" Rose asked as April nodded, "As a heart attack, I don't need a man," she said as Autumn furrowed her eyebrows.

She scooped up her plate and coffee and scurried over to us. “Morning, Vee!” She said brightly. “Good morning, April.” I gestured to my right, “This is my friend and advisor, Riley.” “Nice to meet you!” April said, holding her hand out across the table. Riley took it with a smile. “Nice to meet you too,” she said. “April is a warrior,” I said to Riley, “And a damned good one at that.” I winked at April, “I just barely took her down in a spar last night, but I get the sense that she was going easy on me.”

April got into her hotel room dressed like a man. Her eyes were narrowed in anger as she threw down a lamp from the bedside table. "A surprise wedding, huh?" She gritted, blood burning with anger. "I'll give them a wedding to remember!" April flew into South City in disguise for a secret mission for the Cordel family. After seeing the press around her sister and Rafael's survival as well as her mother taking over the Lontoc and Rivera companies, she sought for an opportunity to come into South City and when the opportunity presented itself, she took it with both hands.

“Let’s see if we can figure this out.” April leaned over the page. “Okay, this is an edited version of what we see here. Well, that’s interesting, though it shouldn’t be a surprise.” April pored over the papers, looking closely at the words and symbols.

It’s not like we’ve had a real talk. Santana jumps and claps her hands together happily. “Of course. That’s great! I can’t wait to tell Declan. You don’t know how happy he’ll be to know you’re no longer dating any more insipid skeletons. You should see these women, April. They wear so much makeup and spend the whole time taking selfies with their phones. It was awful.” At my horrified expression, April chuckles mirthfully. “Looks like your sister has you pegged.”

She laughs down the phone, she’s adorable. “I couldn’t think of anyone I’d love more to be Godmother; you know you’ve got the gig already. So, what’s on your plan for the day?” “Lazy one today, I’m not working. I’m going on a hike then putting my feet up to read a new book.” “Oh, sounds lovely. What you reading?” “You know me, I forget the titles as quick as I see them, I ready that many books.” It’s true, she is more of a bookwork than I am. We sometimes do a buddy read but April can read like the speed of light. Whereas I take a little longer.
