BOUND TO MY AWAKENING
Mid-sentence, I let the fabric slip, gliding down my skin with a soft rustle before pooling around my bare feet, exposing my bosoms and legs.
Draven’s breath hitched—a harsh, ragged sound in the quiet room. His golden eyes dragged slowly down the bare length of my body, possessive and dark, before snapping back up to lock onto mine.
The rigid restraint in his face cracked.
"You're playing with fire, Kaela," he rasped, bridging the remaining space until his chest slammed into mine.
"Good," I breathed, tilting my chin up. "Burn with me."
His hand shot out, his broad, warm palm cupping the back of my neck. His fingers tangled into my hair with a sharp, possessive grip that forced my head back.
