Roses and Wars

Roses and Wars

I was with him always when he had made plans or deals with other kingdoms or just choosing the right decision for himself--I was always with him guiding him and he himself guiding me. I know that my existence had succeeded over twenty years--an age every woman gets married and already has children at but that does not mean I have no opinions and feelings enough to get wed without my input. I cannot reject this proposal since Azaleth may start a war with us. They have highly trained knights and many weapons, a lot of which we do not even know about. If we ever have a war with them, we would lose. We have already lost so many knights and warriors in the Great war of Dajoah and Caldorus.

This Is War

This Is War

Furious, he wanted revenge on William. … In the hospital, I stared at William, who was lying on the bed in a daze. If he could give up his life for my sake, then why was he treating me like this? William was gravely wounded. However, on the third day of his stay, he insisted on getting out of bed and said that he had to negotiate with the enemy leader. I hated the way my heart softened at his words. When he saw me staring at him, guilt flashed across his eyes. "It's really important. I have to go."

The Pack's Doctor

The Pack's Doctor

“I’ll be back in thirty minutes. I’m going to shower, then get my schedule and some books. Maybe we can look through them and see what's in store for us. Yorick and I spend the afternoon going through our schedule. “I’ve never considered war an art,” I say, looking at the class titles Art of War. “Many do though,” Yorick says, flipping through his book. “There are lots of books on it.” I'm sitting on the small couch in my room. He'd pulled up a chair, pulling my legs over his lap. As we’ve talked and gone through our course schedule, his fingers had been gently running up and down my legs, periodically rubbing my feet as we talk. At some point, he’d extended his legs to the couch and I start

So I read the Packs doctor and it was awesome. Love the story. Yara is awesome. Love her character. Then once the tax doctor is over, it continues with the Packs nemesis. Now I’m reading this. And this is good too. I enjoy. It is basically the story of Quirin and Kennedy. I’m really enjoying it.

I absolutely love The Pack’s … EVERYTHING! I’ve read every book so far and continue to search weekly to see when the next one comes out! I just love the entire storyline and hope that it continues on for a very long time! I’m so anxious to see the quads take over! lol

THE ART OF FALLING

THE ART OF FALLING

Chapter Twelve The rain had been relentless all Friday. Sheets of water fell from the sky, drumming against windows and rooftops, as if the heavens themselves were mourning or warning. Nora sat in the art studio, trying desperately to focus on her presentation, but her brush hovered uselessly over the canvas. The colours and lines felt meaningless. Every stroke of paint blurred, smudged by the storm of emotions inside her.

My Alpha, My War

My Alpha, My War

I was once admonished by the town officer for using a claw to cut out a short branch once, he called me a heathen with no respect for the law. Blood started to spout and I gasped as I turned back, their teeth had grown out. They rolled into the murky waters, their blood staining the very surface as they dug into each other’s skin. It was barbaric. “They’ll kill each other”. My voice was hoarse as I stepped behind Buck, “We have to do something.” “Don’t.” He muttered, “A fight breaking out between to males but only end of the other concedes, it’s the natural order.”

BLUE MOON

BLUE MOON

I ask my hands running through the spines. He shakes his head “Feel free” He didn’t have to tell me twice, I slide out the first book, then another one, then another one, I look at the warrior on the front then the title “The Art of War” I had a copy back home but it’s being a while since I read this book. When I turn around I have about five books in hand. “Are you going to read all that?” “Of course,” I don’t have much time between training and being with friends these days but I’ll make time.

War Among Alphas

War Among Alphas

Taz turn on a small torchlight which he had taken along with him before sneaking inside the sacred library. Every book in the library was about the blood moon beast. Despite the alikeness of all the books, there was a particular one that caught Taz's attention. It was a grey book with ancient inscriptions. He pulled it out, dusted it and hid it inside his garment and hurried out of the hidden room. Unknown to Taz, as he walked out of the room through the secret door and out of the library, the secret room disappeared and there was no secret library there anymore.

The Don's Daughter

The Don's Daughter

VITTORIA’S POV Three days before the wedding, I was sitting in the library. Not hiding. Not lurking. Sitting, comfortably, curled into one of the leather lounge chairs with a book resting open in my hands. The Art of War. Sun Tzu had lived and died long before men like Nikolai De Luca ever learned to call themselves kings, but strategy never aged. Power never changed. Only the pieces on the board did. I liked ancient warfare texts. They were honest. They didn’t pretend victory came from morality or mercy. They understood what most people refused to admit, wars were won before the first blow was struck.

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

They stepped inside. Raven’s sharp blue eyes scanned the spines—titles in languages older than Arcadia Prime, bindings of shadow-leather and bone. Victoria moved with purpose, fingers trailing over volumes until she stopped before a thick tome bound in matte black hide that drank the light rather than reflected it. Silver script crawled across the cover like living veins: *Intricate Military Command of the Dead* *Advanced Studies in the Art of Necromantic Warfare* Raven reached up—standing on tiptoe—and pulled it free. The weight surprised her; this was no slim intermediate text. This was dense, heavy with diagrams of battlefield sigils, troop formations of the risen, rites for coordinating
