Caution to the wind

Caution to the wind

They quietly took a seat, the man sipping his cup of tea while the woman took graceful bites of a sandwich. Artemis had read two chapters before she slid the bookmark in and closed the book, slipping it back into her bag. Then, she smiled at the couple, pulling out a lunchbox of her own. "Artemis, your writing is beautiful as always. I quite enjoy this story. What was your inspiration?" Doctor Harrington asked. Artemis nodded her head to Apollo with a bitter smile, "My brother, the boy who got lost in his dreams, yet to return to us".

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

A bond that’s unbreakable because we stand as equals, not because one of us bends to the other. I don’t want Sophia to become what my mother was—a shadow behind me. I want her to be like her mother, like Artemis. I watch Artemis as she tosses another file onto the growing pile, the fire in her eyes undimmed. “I’ll go check on Sophia and Rose,” she announces abruptly, standing with her usual confident grace. She doesn’t wait for permission or acknowledgment—she never does. Artemis moves like someone who owns every space she steps into, and I can’t help but admire her for it.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

The Forbidden Shadows of Love

The Forbidden Shadows of Love

There were a lot of wolves out there in sheep’s skin. I heard a creak to our left, I pushed Liam forward as an arrow flew by us. “Who’s there?” “Is that you Felix?” “Artemis?” we stood up as Artemis made her way to us. She was a beautiful woman, strong, skilled, and deadly. “Are we shooting before asking questions now?”

Amaris

Amaris

Instead, I went to my father—but he forbade me from stepping in, we do not interfere with human ordeals, he had said. I'd still left an anonymous note describing what I had walked in on in the bathroom, but then I found out later that same day that I'd been too late—he was already gone. And those boys? They were only expelled, and that was only because one of them confessed. But, what kind of justice is that? And since when does rape not warrant jail time? Amaris lays down next to the creek in her wolf form, resting her head on her paws, her ears twitching this way and that, likely listening out for any kind of a threat that could be lurking within the coverage the dense forest supplies.

Freya And The Lycan King

Freya And The Lycan King

Soaking in the warm water and letting it soften all the rigid tension I must have felt. My life had always been a meagre, deficient and lacking. Meeting Artemis was a beautiful turn of event, I would consider it a story. Those ones with wonderful plot twists and lines and It was hard to comprehend that this was my life now. A dream. The heat from the hot water brought about dew that encompassed the bathroom. I stepped out of the bath after a while, took a rope and put on. Getting to the room where Artemis lay on the bed like the king that he is, he watched my every movement like a predator watching a prey carefully.

Yaya lets out a deep breath and fluffs her hair away from her face. “I get that you don’t fully trust me; I sure as fuck don’t trust either of you, let alone your pack. I swear though, I had no idea Artemis was planning to escape. He never mentioned anything to me. That may explain why he was so flustered when you guys moved me to these different cells. I don’t know where he could be. If he is with Grizz, who knows? I never liked him. He’s like Bram: power-hungry. I just wanted to feel safe. When Artemis agreed for us to work for The Underground, Bram was elated to have us do his bidding,” she explains with tears falling down her face. Arthmata (The Saga)

Arthmata (The Saga)

However, the word he had earlier heard interrupted his flow of thoughts, and the emotions that were creeping into him. Arthmata, Arthmata, Arthmata. The words resounded in his head in the very manner and pace the woman had said it. It, however, sounded more of a ghostly echo. Who was that woman? And what the hell is Arthmata? The woman looked worried when he met her. Their car had rammed into a truck. However, one thing caught his eye- Her eyes. When he first saw them, the top right quarter of her iris was red, the top left corner green, a the lower right quarter blue and the remaining quarter orange, and it seemed to glow dimly. The pupil was black, but it was blacker that the pupil anyone

CROWNED AS THE RUTHLESS ALPHA'S CELESTIAL LUNA

CROWNED AS THE RUTHLESS ALPHA'S CELESTIAL LUNA

Derek looked shocked by the sudden movement, but made no effort to stop me. "I, Heidi Artemis, proudly and happily accept your rejection," I announced, my voice echoing across the quiet clearing to reach every single person present. "I want to thank you for rejecting me today, Derek. I always knew we were mates, and the idea of spending the rest of my life with you was something I dreaded. I also want to mention a very specific reason why I am grateful for this. When I washed your laundry last week, I saw the extremely small size of your undergarments. I have absolutely no desire to be mated to a man with such a disappointingly small cock. My mistake. Cocks are for real men. You qualify for
