ASSASSIN LUNA

ASSASSIN LUNA

I was still in my room when I heard someone being rushed to the pack clinic and also declared dead. I knew it could only be Agnar; I mean, the pack house was awfully cold and quiet. I checked the time, and it was a little late. I immediately went and picked up a bottle of wine to celebrate a little and to put myself in my best mood for the role I was about to play. I poured in a generous amount in a glass and toasted to me, the new Luna of the pack. I emptied the glass in one gulp and poured another glass while waiting for someone to come call me.

Luna Freya, The Vengeful Assassin

Luna Freya, The Vengeful Assassin

"How will an assassin defend herself when apprehended?" “And who said I am an assassin? I am the acting Luna, and you have assassins on your side." Freya stood up after taking a long breath. “Point your fingers at me as an assassin that I am, and I will take the councils to the group of assassins that work for you. What do you expect the Pack members to say? It may even attract the Priestess' attention, and all will end."

 Snow Luna

Snow Luna

Light 442lyra wolf
It carried a tray with three glowing vials—one green, one red, one black—each pulsing with unnatural light. The figure approached the cage and uncorked the green vial first. With terrifying gentleness, it held the glass to the wolf’s mouth. Circe thrashed violently, her white fur catching the torchlight like moonfire. This was the first time Lydia had seen her wolf in full color. Circe had always been a deep brown—large, strong, grounded. But now… she was massive. Nearly twice the size Lydia remembered, her fur a rare, glistening snow-white. An ancient color. A sacred one.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

"Hurry up and join hands to display the Supreme Devil magical power!" The Asuras on the scene kept spitting out blood, opening their mouths and roaring. Their eyes were filled with indescribable fear. Their auras quickly connected. A deep light that was neither black nor white swept from the horizon, full of horror and charm. This beam of light quickly enveloped all the Asuras and instantly condensed into an eight-armed Asura that was ten thousand feet tall! The Eight-armed Shura stepped on the ground. Asura opened his mouth and roared. The sun, moon, and stars fell together.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

Zephyr Khan had no choice but to retreat! "Ah..." Taking the golden-haired youth and Ying Jiu with him, they hurriedly retreated backward, looking for a way out. Suddenly, a shrill scream appeared at this time. There was undisguised fear and pain in this voice. There, because he was a step late, Asura King's body was enveloped by strange lights. It was a blood-red light that was as bright as scarlet, but with a burning aura. The light circulated and trapped the Asura King.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

Ashes of Six

Ashes of Six

Her copper rune-threaded robes fluttered as she turned, eyes locking onto mine with a smile too sharp to be warm. “Elias,” she said, voice airy and bright as ever. “We need your help with a bit of an anomaly.” “Aurelian,” I replied flatly, not bothering to ask. “I heard.” Ashleigh didn’t deny it. She just flicked her wrist, and a scroll snapped open midair between us. “The gate scan confirmed dragonblood. Four times. Same result.” I raised an eyebrow. “And your solution is to… assign me babysitting duty?”

The Lightblaser Saga: Rise Of The Mysterium Crusade

The Lightblaser Saga: Rise Of The Mysterium Crusade

he thought as he threw his arms forward and large blue lights began to glow like a shield from his arms. The beam of purple light hit the shield causing a shockwave through the room, the walls shook and began to crumble, dust fell from the rafters the COG members fell back, and the ceiling shattered, shards of glass and tiles began to fall. Krona held his shield over himself as they crashed on top of him, the sound was like the crashing of a waterfall. “How do we stop this?” Shreftwood called to Warren who was now wincing from the pressure beaming down on him, he called back through clenched teeth ``We can’t, without the Harlequin staff we are useless…we must '' he grunted from the weight.

Chased By The Light

Chased By The Light

With three Sentinels, three wolf packs and other shifters, vamps and witches, we might have a chance at defeating them all. Once the light from our eyes faded, we began to swirl around the beam, while gently being lowered to the ground. By the time we reached the grass, our body's were our own and we were able to place our feet on the ground. The beam of white light had little speckles of gold and blue glitter floating through it and when I looked up, I could see the top of the beam disappearing. It was making it’s way down to us and when it hit the floor, it exploded, but we didn’t move. We knew the light wouldn’t hurt us and it didn’t. Our wolves and our human bodies absorbed the light. I

So lovely to see a book on this site using correct grammar. I don't love the sudden personality shift of the main character. I would have softened him originally if she was going to follow that behavior trend. However, overall, compelling story where you want to learn more about the characters.
