Candy's POV I still can't imagine, how comes that the girl named Athena hired as Mordrake's assistant. She looks like a pig-headed human compared to me, we have no any similarities. I'm much more look better and decent unlike her. I know the real reason why CEO Mordrake task her as his assistant and that because- Oh- I almost forgot. Mordrake forbidden telling the reason. But I know it, I took some of documents about Athena, I disgust her after I discovered that when she was a child his own uncle raped her.

I don’t want to lose my job. “Ugh, I felt the same way, Pau. Earlier, we hesitated to greet him. We did greet him, but he just walked past us like we didn’t exist,” Jessa chimed in. She’s also part of the IT team but focuses more on software. “Right? So Athena, when you see him, just avoid him right away because his aura alone will make you nervous,” Pau warned. I just nodded in response and excused myself to go to the pantry. I needed some coffee to shake off my drowsiness.

They plotted against me and almost took my life." Athena pauses and lifts her head, staring directly at the place where Dante Grahams and her twin siblings are sitting. "Dante Grahams was pursuing me but I did not like him. I turned him down and also, I did not want a man. I wanted to pursue my dreams first and then marriage later. His sister, Candice, was my friend, and her, Donna Kays, and I were inseparable then."

Athena went back into the closet, she opened the huge drawer that she kept her shades in, she picked the one that would hide her face well then she picked a flat slip on that matched her outfit. She grabbed her car keys and made her way to the store, she bought everything on the list and she restocked Ava’s food then she drove to her mom’s bakery. Athena dived into her thoughts, the road was free because it was a weekday. She was the CEO of her company and she didn’t go to the company because there were speculations that her husband cheated on her. What if her employee was on the same boat with her? Would she have condoned that behavior?

"Yeah I know just pulling ya balls. I think you should see my date to the date. Hehehe" Marcus stepped out of his car and another woman from the opposite side of the car followed suite. The lady was dressed in a royal blue dress and she possessed strong feminine features such as a big waist, puffed chest , charming face and a big backside. Adrian widened his eyes in shook and yelled "Athena!!!!???" The lady spoke "Yes , Adrian God of fire and destruction , I'm Athena goddess of wisdom and I'm here to accompany Marcus on what Earthlings refers to as 'date's. Long time no see I've been wanting to meet you in person"

“Of course I slept well, I spent my night buried inside someone I’m addicted to.” She giggled and flipped her hair, I stared at her a bit confused on why she seems happy with that information. “I don’t know women here still wear ridiculous makeup to breakfast.” Cassian said, his gaze fixed on Athena. “Who are you?” Athena asked her voice a little bit strained. “No, I should be the one asking you that.” Cassian replied. Athena rolled her eyes and sat up straight. “I am Athena Veyran, Kardor’s second wife to be. And who are you?”

’ It’s beautiful, and still takes my breath away whenever I look at it. Alice looks at me. “Is this Lesley?” That makes me laugh out loud. “No. It’s the Greek goddess Astraea. She’s the virgin goddess of justice, innocence, and purity.” “Figures,” Alice says, throwing me a wry look before turning her gaze back to it. “Who’s the artist?” I smile. “Damon.” She looks back at me, her mouth an O. “Seriously?” “Yeah. He says it’s just a hobby. Cocky bastard.”

Athena I genuinely enjoyed T’s company. Her full name was Titan, but she preferred the shorter, sharper nickname. She had another friend, Celia, who was the complete opposite of her—tall like a giant, quiet, and not one to make much noise. They were the only two people I spent time with in this new place, and for the most part, they kept me distracted. Today, we were sitting outside, eating homemade ice cream. Well, they were eating. Mine was melting in my hand as I stared into space, lost in thought again.

Athena had already accepted everything thus she couldn't withdraw and go back on her words. Besides, it was rare for a person to have two identities so she took it without hesitation because she found it favorable on her side now that she was aiming at something.
