CHAPTER 58 — The air hit me first. Cold. Clean. Real. Not corridor-air, not cage-breath—this was wind that moved because it wanted to, not because it was told to. I stumbled forward onto uneven ground, boots slipping on wet stone and fallen leaves. Leaves. My lungs dragged in a breath so sharp it hurt. I was outside. Not the pack’s forest. Not the ravine trail. Somewhere older. The sky above me was low and heavy, clouds racing each other like they were late for something. No moon. No stars. Just movement.

No animal dared to enter his domain, including the grizzlies that occupied the area ever since he battled the one that previously claimed the cave as home. The moon was full and shined brightly in the black sky. Kaynon lifted his head to stare into its light, feeling its mighty pull and relishing in its power. Closing his eyes, he took a deep inhale of the crisp air signifying the imminent return of autumn, and the anniversary of his pack's death. Their screams still haunted him and kept him up most nights. Another day of redemption tomorrow. He thought to himself before drifting off into a dreamless slumber. *******************************

The man was taller than her, so Aubrey lifted her head and looked skyward so that she can have a clear view of the person. Aubrey swallowed hard when she viewed his face, she step backward subconsciously. The man was tall, his skin tan and flawless, his body is more than toned, but he is not being a bodybuilder big either, chiselled face, good groomed beards, his hair dark brown perfectly shaved in a fro hawk and his edges laid but despite the beauty of the man, Aubrey was surprised with the colour of his eyes, dark and they appeared lifeless. Even Aubrey found it hard to maintain eye contact with him.

Aurora woke early the sky was only just beginning to turn from black to grey, she yawned and sighed, 'The sky always seemed to be grey in this dull country.' She looked out of the large windows across the Channel and saw it was raining again. 'I want to go home and see California's sunshine and blue skies.' She thought surprising herself because she felt homesick for the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the beautiful warm sunshine they woke up to on most days, swinging her legs out of the bed she headed

Atlas our captain says as we’re all about ready to leave the rink. Outside the bright sky almost blinds me. The sun is out in force and though it is a bit chillier now we’re heading in to Fall the sky is nonetheless blue with not a cloud in sight. I pull my Aviators down on my face and know I should be wearing my Tommy Hilfiger’s since I’m their brand ambassador, but you know what? I love my Aviators more. I get in the rental bus with the rest of the team and sit next to Calli. “So, you have designs on Autumn?”

Chapter One: A New Beginning Aqua’s heart raced as she walked through the imposing iron gates of Crestwood High. Another town, another school, another chance to start over—if only it were that simple. At 5'10", her presence commanded attention, but she preferred to stay unnoticed. Her dark skin glowed under the morning sun, and her eyes, a striking shade of amber, held secrets untold. She pulled her hood tighter, hoping to shield herself from the prying eyes she could already feel on her.

Unknown The sun dipped low over Sunshine City, painting the sky in hues of orange and crimson, a stark contrast to the darkness swirling in Ambrosia's heart. She stood atop a high rooftop, her silhouette framed against the fading light, watching the bustling streets below. Her emerald eyes glinted with malice as she spotted Athena walking through the crowd, her beauty undeniable, radiant like the sun itself. “Soon, my dear,” Ambrosia whispered to herself, the corners of her lips curling into a wicked smile. “You will be mine.”

Aubrey's POV I was at our family's rest house. Actually this house is open to all montezur as long as you just say and we have him his key to it. The air is so fresh and the scenery here is so beautiful. I smiled at the absence then picked up my phone. I don’t know how I will cross and solve every trial that happens in my life. Sometimes it's tiring too. The sun was setting and the clouds were overcast and the sky gradually darkened and heavy rain was looming.

An abundance of white cedar trees surrounding the Androscoggin County Superior Court rustled and swayed gently in the calm breeze. Blanketed by hovering clouds, the massive judicial branch was especially frenzied today.

She squinted her eyes. *gasp*... A person? Damn is that another? She asked as her eyes widened. She pointed at them in the sky. They were moving incredibly fast. She saw flashes of lights from the figures in the sky. A bright light was going from one towards the other while the other person dodged and raised a counter attack, sending a red beam of light. It was like watching a movie for Mia. Everything seemed so when she suddenly realized that they were fighting. Right above her head a fight was going on. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.
