It simply turned into a regular, non-vibrating rock. The sky didn't turn to gold; it stayed a normal, dark blue. I collapsed into the dirt, my lungs heaving. Kieran and Rowan were there in a second, pulling me up. "Is it over?" Rowan asked, his voice cautious. "For now," I said, wiping soot from my forehead. I looked at the horizon, where the first real light of dawn was finally appearing. "But she said something. 'The Architect.' There’s someone else in this world, someone who isn't the Author."

the Architect sneered, pointing up. The clouds glowed red, and giant words rolled across the sky, as if a huge invisible hand was typing: > “JULIAN AND MAYA ESCAPED. BUT THE COST IS HIGH. THE AUTHOR IS GONE. THE BOARD HAS NO LEADER. THE VILLAINS FROM OTHER BOOKS ARE NOW FREE.” Maya stared up, terrified. “Other books? What does that mean?” “It means,” the Architect said, smiling cruelly, “I’m not the only one hunting you. The Board kept a hundred books on their computer. Scary stories, war stories, stories of monsters that eat stars. Now, the walls between the books are gone.”

“Are you guys ready to finally do as we were formed to do?” My eyes glared at Callighan as he lifted his head up to the sky. Once that loud howl came from him, we all prepared ourselves as the wolves charged at us altogether. All we could do was fight to our hearts desire. One charged at me and right when I thought life was over for me, the gunshots came right after him. Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow! However, those shots were not enough… -To Be Continued- The End of Book 2

Flavius Darkness clouds my vision as we walk further into the cave. My foot catches on a piece of jagged stone protruding from the cavern floor, and I stumble forward. Ellie grabs me by the hand, pulling me up straight again, and we continue on our path. A dim glow begins to invade the dark cave. I quickly shield my eyes from the unexpected light. "It has been a while, Eleonora," a soft angelic voice calls out.

They had carried along with them her few bodyparts, which the monster had left behind. "There they are. How was the search?" Alpha Cameroon asked the moment they walked into the court chambers. That was where he liked sitting, especially when he had sent someone on a mission and was waiting for them. He had a huge book in his hands, although he was not reading it. He always carried the book with him to cover up his anxiety. "Well, I am sure the people I am talking to are not dumb or deaf either, am I right?" He peered into their eyes, freezing their innards. They weren't responding to him.

So far, you have met or 'heard of' (ahem) the major leads, and now book two will be centred on: Daisy, Erden, Kassian, Bryant, the demon, a bit of travelling to different continents with Isaac and more of fierce Vivanna, lol, unfortunately, the bumbling and uncertain Vivanna dies in book one and comes back far more villainous in book two. The "Perfect" forest died as she passed, the sapphire glass shattering into dust. The Avatar was waiting at the gates of the Citadel. She had grown to thirty feet tall, her limbs now massive crystalline boughs. She looked at Audrey and screamed—a sound of pure, celestial static. "YOU BRING THE VOID INTO THE GARDEN!" the Avatar roared.
