But aside from all that, the most magnificent thing is the huge wings that spread behind him, filling the entire hall, and they’re not even at their fullest. I run my hand over the feathers and realize they are suddenly made of metal. “Interesting,” I hear Logan say. “Is this actually possibly?” I murmur. “I’m not entirely sure. I have never seen armored wings before, not even on a guard angel. Metal is too heavy to allow for flight,” he remarks, stepping closer. I lift my wing; it is a little heavier but still moves the same. “I bet I can still fly like this.”

From her back, a dazzling pair of angelic wings unfurled in a blaze of shimmering light, spreading wide like a divine storm. With a powerful beat, she soared down among the attackers like an avenging angel, her wings casting swift shadows over the chaos. Her eyes blazed with righteous fury as she struck, moving with a speed and grace that stunned even me. She took down one vampire with a sweeping strike of her hand, sending him crashing into the trees. Another shifter lunged, but Gwen’s wings whipped around him, knocking him off his feet like a gale. Her voice echoed like thunder as she called out, “Leave them alive, or face my wrath!”

Everyone saw that the Dodge Tomahawk's posture was slowly changing. It stood where it was, leaning slightly, but it had never taken its eyes off Spider Queen, as if it were ready to attack. And just behind the handsome silver-white robot, a pair of massive, beautiful angel-like robotic wings that were made of an unknown material slowly unfolded. As they expanded, all the surrounding spider silks were ruthlessly severed, and an ice-blue light flowed on the wings, looking extremely beautiful.
