Average Length Of A Chapter Novels & Stories

Later, I would be able to feel proud that I wrote something about my country’s local myth (screw inconsistencies and lack of information which I patched up with my own imagination). By the way, my apologies if in the end, I did not really reveal any spoiler. Haha. I was just writing down my messy thoughts. Alright. I’m guilty so let me just proceed to answering questions that I know some have in mind. - *How many chapters would The Ascension have? Can’t say for sure, but I estimate, it would be between 200-300. The chapters of this story are long anyway, I believe I would be able to cover everything that needed to be covered with that number of chapters.

I like making my chapters at least 3k words because I pack a lot into one chapter and I am unable to do that with a word limit of 1500-2k (to keep my chapters affordable I need to keep them between that word count). This story is dragging on because I'm trying to figure out how to keep it at a good pace while also keeping the chapters short and sweet. I'm afraid I'll either make the story too fast or as I am making it now, too slow. I am unable to find a healthy balance and this story is starting to become more of a burden than a joy like it originally is supposed to be.

The plan was to have it till 60 chapters and yet because of my characters moving on their own will, we arrived with 123 chapters. From November 11, 2020 till April 28, 2021. I write 123 chapters with a total of 203131 words. I wrote it with plans of letting people understand that we all have to be mindful of our worth, that we should treasure yourself and never let anyone tell us we are not worthy. Allana is like ¼ of who I am, she is a fragment of my imagination, and there is not a time that I wished I was her, to be loved by someone like Augustine Kings.

But sometimes, it's depressing to think I cant never be enough for this field. I leaned on my chair and stared at the ceiling as I clicked the last word of the draft. I don't know if I should continue this. I don't have a proper outline and I can only write a thousand words per chapter which is unusual of me because I usually write three to four thousand words per chapter. I just couldn't find the write words to exprss how I feel. Or maybe, no words could define the thoughts I want to substantiate.

As with the first story, the other three stories will revolve around the title “Sorry Dear Ex, It’s Your Loss, Not Mine.” I will try to limit their stories to 50 chapters each, but sometimes, a plotted chapter expands to five depending on the scene, especially those happy scenes that I love so much. In line with this, I will take it a little slow in my next book, enough for my eyes to rest so they won't get strained from all the screen time. I know you are all used to me delivering two chapters daily on most days, but in the next book, I will probably publish an average of nine to ten chapters per week. I need this badly, so I am asking for your understanding. Note that you can always read at the end of the week or after the book is completed. What book will I publish next?
