Average Words Per Page Novel Novels & Stories

I like making my chapters at least 3k words because I pack a lot into one chapter and I am unable to do that with a word limit of 1500-2k (to keep my chapters affordable I need to keep them between that word count). This story is dragging on because I'm trying to figure out how to keep it at a good pace while also keeping the chapters short and sweet. I'm afraid I'll either make the story too fast or as I am making it now, too slow. I am unable to find a healthy balance and this story is starting to become more of a burden than a joy like it originally is supposed to be.

Rating it poorly because of what you don’t even know is cruel and malicious. I am sad and angry. I am a reader as much as I am a writer and I have read books with short chapters and understood what short chapters meant. Most times my chapter ends at 2.5k or 3k words, but because I know the coin consumption would be higher, I split the chapter into 2. I don’t like it but I have to understand and be considerate. I am taking this as an outlet to let you know sometimes we do what we do to make it easier for every reader. Getting rated poorly because of it is cruel. I barely get many reviews on the front page of the book so a review this poor would set me back so far.

They may be punctuation errors and other minor grammar errors in the book but be assured that the author is working hard to correct them (please note in the comments section if you find any, to help the author correct it immediately). Being able to explore my characters through their own points of view was an eye opening experience, and I hoped you loved tuning into Dalton, Kendra, and Jake's thoughts just as much as the lead's, Hollis and Whitney's. Despite this book taking five months to write, a month less than two of my other novels, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" is by far my longest book, nearing 600 pages. I couldn't avoid it since there was so much I wanted to cover, and there are no regrets.

I carry out my updates like this to avoid unduly stretching the book, as I plan to finish this book with just sixty to sixty-five chapters. If I update everyday, I would have to be updating an average of fourteen thousand words in a week, which is kind of a lot for me to handle as I am also busy with work and other things. I write between 7,000-11,000 words every week for this story, so this averages out to about equal to or more than other stories. It takes me 3-5 hours to write one chapter. As I cannot add more hours to my day, I will not update more often

But sometimes, it's depressing to think I cant never be enough for this field. I leaned on my chair and stared at the ceiling as I clicked the last word of the draft. I don't know if I should continue this. I don't have a proper outline and I can only write a thousand words per chapter which is unusual of me because I usually write three to four thousand words per chapter. I just couldn't find the write words to exprss how I feel. Or maybe, no words could define the thoughts I want to substantiate.

Let me read what changes to her plot. An hour later, I finish reading her story, and it's good. It piques my attention. She has already fixed her grammar and other error. Should I challenge her a bit? I want her to be the best before she marries me. So I will tell her that it's good and I'll rechallenge her to a new plot. Let's me see what kind of plot I should give to her? Angsty romance? No, it doesn't suit her. I know now! Since she is a model, let's make it more interesting. I'll give her the plot to turn into a novel with 60k words that contain two thousand words per chapter.
