I got the nonstick pan and a kitchen apron, and I turned on the electronic stove to heat it up and put some olive oil in the pan. "Inform me if Max is here, I'm going to take a shower," I heard Ace say, and he had his towel on his shoulder. "I will," I say and cook the bacon and egg. The sunny-side-up egg is my favorite cooking style. After cooking, I put some bacon and eggs on Ace's plate and some on mine, set it on the dining table, and made some coffee for him. I also make some hot milk for myself, wondering what I would do at his house today.

Eggs, toast, every cereal imaginable, bacon, ham, coffee, and orange juice. “What the fuck?” I grumble, rubbing my eyes. “Am I still dreaming?” I get up and go over to the enormous trolley and examine the feast that’s been laid out for me. Between the coffee and the orange juice is a card. I pick it up and examine it.

As soon as breakfast came out, Amaris immediately regretted not getting more ham or bacon, the smell of all the others’ breakfasts was driving her crazy. Amaris tore into her eggs and left the toast and fruit. Anna’s Dad seemed to know what she was thinking and pushed a huge plate of bacon at her, “I’m glad I ordered you this. Looks like you could use it.” Amaris smiled and began to polish off the whole heaping plate of bacon. When she was done she could not believe herself. That was more bacon than she could eat in a month. It had tasted amazing. Sleeping outdoors must have made her more hungry than she thought.

Wiping my tear-stained cheek, I grab my plate and bite into another chocolate bacon. My eyes met Helen’s and I can’t tell if she looked curious or disgusted. “Not that I’m judging you, but is that bacon…covered in chocolate?” I flush, “Yeah.” “Why?” “Okay, don’t tell me I’m weird,” I start. Biting the inside of my cheek, I start explaining, “I went grocery shopping today and I was about to go to the aisle for ramen but then I passed the chocolate aisle. I felt like I had to grab some boxes, so I did. Then I smelled this amazing bacon, so I ended up getting two bags. But then when I got home, the bacon didn’t taste as good as it did when the staff cooked it for me.”

I was surprised about what I'd just learnt from the Acorn Master. To think that that could have been the case — that I seemed to be emitting an aura of animal spirit. ‘Yo man, where I come from, that's an offense,’ I said within me. It was just something I'd compare to a bacon athletes use in racing, only that it was much more beautiful. There was a symbol of a beast on it with terrifying teeth that made me shudder.

The plate was full of bacon and pancakes, sliced strawberries surrounded the food and a glass full of milk was waiting along with the food. Morana touched the food and smiled as she sat down and took a bite of the bacon softly moaning from the greasy taste. Brandon had amazing cooking skills, "Good Morning Luna." She asked, “What do we need the bacon for?” I laughed, “We season our green beans with a strip or two of bacon.” Her eyes widened as she remembered the taste of the green beans at the ball, “That’s why they were so good! I never even though of that!” I laughed, “I season a lot of my food with bacon fat. Plus, if you are boiling pasta or potatoes and they start to boil over, you can put a teaspoon of bacon fat in it and the water level will go way down and it won’t rise again.” She furrowed her brow, “Really?” I nodded, “I save every bit of bacon fat I can.
