she yelled after me. I walked into the kitchen to see Blake standing in front of the sink, his hands soapy up to his forearms as he dipped them back into the sink. He had on a tight white tee that showed off his rippling back muscles as he moved around the kitchen. My tongue darted out to wet my lips and I gulped at the sight. I stalked over to him, making sure to be quiet so he wouldn't notice and grabbed his ass, making him jerk in fright.

Wow, a bath would be great right now. Grayson takes a seat by my side, as my legs still cower underneath the blanket. "It's important you don't freak out," he tells me. Instantly, his words have the opposite effect to what he intended. My heart flutters at the insinuation of bad news. It's early in the morning, my mate is looking nervous, and now suddenly, he's holding my hands between his own. I'm captured in his intrusive gaze, as he suggests I don't worry without even speaking. But nonetheless, his next sentence shocks me. "Lexia, I'm a Phantom Wolf."

He knows who I am.” Ethan runs a hand over his full lips, then leans back in his chair. “Aye. I think so too.” “Who is he?” His expression darkens. “His name is Blake. He’s the most dangerous male in the Kingdom of Wolves, and he has the power to either help us, or destroy us. There’s a feast tonight. I’ll speak with him then. And I need you to come with me.”

It was just strange that he was submitting to me without me doing more than shove him into a tree. “He’s part of our pack, Luna,” a familiar voice called out. “Why are you calling her Luna?” Alex questioned out of breath. Alex is here? I turned my head and looked behind me. Trooper Bryant stood, though not in uniform, with all his piercings and arm tattoos on display. Next to him, trying to catch his breath, was Alex. “I told you to stay back at the house, boy. Are you deaf or just too dumb to do what a trooper tells you?” Bryant rolled his eyes.

And with that, he turned and stalked out of the cabin as fast as he had entered, shutting the door hard behind him. My mother collapsed into a chair, shaking. "Who was that, Annie? His power.it was wonderful. I've never felt anything like it, not even from the Martial Lord." I kept mute, but I knew then my mom knew my state. I couldn't say a lot. I looked down at my babies, their tiny fists opening and closing. My sons needed a pack. They needed the best protection they would have. And Damon, for his wickedness, was still an Alpha, still known by all. The strange man was too much of a risk.

He didn't know what the man bugging him deal was, and he could have shoved him if he was someone his size. Trevor contemplated what would happen if he told him off. Perhaps, he would receive a heavy blow on his cheeks, and then maybe he'd strangle him for talking back. "Yay or nay?" Trevor bit his tongue to stop himself from yelling, 'Bug off.' Because he was sure what he had thought of would happen to him. Luckily, another man, twice the size of the one in front of him, walked up to them. He had tattoos all over his body, and his face was set in a permanent grimace. His lips were twisted down like he had taken something bitter before coming to the bar and his eyes narrowed.

It was odd but something deep inside Duncan told him he could trust this man. “I’m a rogue.” forced Duncan, swallowing, his throat feeling raw and scratchy. “I know.” said the man turning away from Duncan and pouring him some water from a jug. Duncan blinked as the man turned away from him and he saw the back of his shirt. On the back of what looked like a perfectly normal white dress shirt was a large red cross, the horizontal bar was directly across the middle of the vertical one and each ‘leg’ of the cross flared out at the ends. Before Duncan could ask anything, the man turned back around and handed him the glass of water. As he took the glass Duncan saw strange tattoos on the man hands,

He extended his hand out to Brax. “Brax Lawson, I am Logan Carter. It is nice to meet you.” Brax blinked at him a few times unsure how to react. He extended his hand in return to Logan and shook it. “Logan, may I ask why you have travelled all the way here?” His tone was more normal than I anticipated which confused me after how tense he was with me. “I have come to win Leah’s affections back.” His voice was clear and concise but filled with emotion. “I guess we have an issue there then, don’t we?” Brax’s tone was filled with protection.

Kade growls warningly but the blonde just laughs. "Don't be like that, I just thought you'd like to know who's going to be looking after your mate when you're dead." Kade turns towards him and the guy just lifts a gun, pointing it straight at my forehead and carries on talking as though he isn't. "I'm Jeff by the way. You've got to tell me, is she a good fuck? I've seen you two at it a couple of times and I've got to say, she looks like she knows what she's doing. I don't mind a bit of dominance between the sheets. I'm thinking she could ride me all night long, what do you reckon?"

His focus on the flames as they crackled and waved. “The Luna has arrived,” Odis announced. The young man turned around has dark skin and his black hair is puffy and wild. A firm strong jawline, thin lips, and sharp prominent nose. The most surprising thing is his eyes, brown eyes with a white cloud over them. The doctor is blind. “Good afternoon, Luna.
