Before Beta Novels & Stories

Offering a subdued smile, she revealed she had already acted, ensuring Linda would accompany Rylan. Acknowledging the excess burden, I had placed on Stephanie—fulfilling beta responsibilities, unexpectedly taking on Alpha and even Luna roles—I planned to appeal to Rylan. My aim was to have him temporarily replace my beta, Greyson, during his absence, at least until a suitable gamma could be appointed.

“The girl is alive.” The Beta's expression contorted with rage. "That shouldn't have happened." The rogue hesitated. “What should we do?” The Beta’s voice was cold. “Tell the Alpha.” The rogue nodded, vanishing into the night. And inside the pack hospital, Emily’s heart pounded as a terrifying thought formed in her mind. Whoever had been chasing her in the forest... They weren’t done yet. --- Emily is marked by Alexander but has no memory of him, and unseen enemies are already plotting her death.

His eyes grow wide and he tears at my hand. “N-no.” He rushes out. Bentley is frantic now, realizing I won’t be showing him any mercy. “Do you have a beta?” I ask his warriors, standing around dumbfounded. They look back and forth between each other, trying to devise an answer. “Do. You. Have. A. Beta?” I scream, punctuating every word. The warrior nearest Gemini sighs after looking at the others like they embarrass him. “No. He has no Beta.” “Fuck,” I groan. Now, killing this fucker will cause all sorts of chaos.

At this time Beta Makara stepped forward with his mate and looked at his son, then at Azmita. This part of the meeting I am just not going to be answering your question Azmita, but also going to be giving you some more information. This is mostly because, this next part is hard for your father to talk about. Beta Makara said. Azmita looked at his father, then back at Beta Makara and said calmly(Using all of the Alpha training that he has done over the years, to just stay seated and not go off on all of them. To just hurry up and get to the point of all of this). Okay, please continue.

It was the past Luna. Had two hours already passed? He answered. “Hey…” “Can I talk to him now?” She asked, nervousness in her voice. “Ma’am…are you sure of this? Once you do this, there’s no turning back.” “I know.” She sniffled dryly. “But like I said, I’m not getting any younger. I need to do this.” The beta closed his eyes for a few seconds, trying to mentally prepare himself. Then he opened them and breathed out a sigh. “Of course,” he said in respect. Then he walked out of the bathroom and headed back to the living room.

my brows shoot up. "Two guys can't get pregnant" I shake my head, a laugh bubbling out of me. "It's only a rumor, we don't know if it's true," Alpha says. "How would that even happen?" I lean back in my seat. "We're not sure, we're still looking for answers. But another thing is, they advised you and your mate move into the pack house" he adds "Sooner rather than later" "Why?" "You're the beta of this pack, the safest place for you guys is here" Nolan says easily "It makes sense, and he's human. He can't protect himself"

My heart began to race as I realized that they are brothers and the sons of the alpha. If my father finds out that I made out with the alpha's son and a beta from another pack, he will be furious. As we walked into the house, I noticed my sister heading straight up to her room after saying goodnight to our parents. So, I said goodnight to our parents and made my way upstairs to my sister's room. "Ulrica, can I come in?" I said softly, as I knocked on her door. She just ignored me, and I could hear her pacing back and forth inside. I kept knocking, hoping that she would let me in. "Get out!" she yelled, her voice laced with anger, as I slowly opened the door and put my head between the small

“Mom, listen. She will come around... after I am sworn in....” “Sworn in?! As what?!” My mom’s face turned pure red. “Didn’t you hear? Alpha Abby is throwing a Beta Selection this weekend! You aren’t going to be Beta anymore!!!”

he replies in a clipped tone, not only cutting in but also leaving me dumbfounded. My mouth goes slack. “What?” “You are not suitable to be a beta. You are not cut out for the role. Even if you try honoring your brother’s last wish, it will all go down the drain if you ever face an attack. You don’t know how to fight properly. You have no clue that betas don’t do the stuff you are doing, yet you don’t protest. I bet you never bothered to look up what betas are expected to do. You won’t survive being an alpha’s beta in any pack, let alone here, in the biggest pack around the world.”

He suddenly turned around and handed her a brand-new phone. “From now on, you’ll use this one. No contacting anyone with your old number. Don’t log into your previous accounts. Don’t turn on location services.” “But I have to—” “Don’t do anything,” Soren cut her off. It was the first time the Beta had allowed his irritation to show. “You just need to stay quiet and exist.” Maisa pressed her lips together and turned to look at Airden. He showed no reaction at all—silent, composed, like an Alpha allowing his Beta to carry out his role.
