The sound of blood rushing through my ears overpowered any external sounds. Little black dots began to dance in front of my eyes and they slowly grew larger until all I could see was an inky black nothingness in front of me. As I slipped unconscious, only one thought was running through my head. What have I done?

The images before her eyes were beginning to blur and she was feeling extremely sleepy. This isn't good, she thought. That was the last thought that crossed her mind as she felt her consciousness slip and she hit the floor with a crash.

"Oh goddess! Help! Someone help!" Footsteps pound across the floor, voices shouting, hands touching me. But I am already drifting, the edges of my vision darkening. The last thing I see before consciousness slips away is my own blood on the white marble floor.
