She paid in cash, changed in the fitting room, and exited through the back door.
Outside, a black rental car was waiting.

She opened the passenger door and slid in.
Andres was behind the wheel.
He looked at her — eyes tired, jaw tense.
“Hi,” he said.
She didn’t reply.
He leaned in and kissed her — slow, deep, desperate.
She responded.
But when they pulled apart, her eyes were still cold.
“You didn’t tell me about Isabella,” she said.
