"I will just grab one last thing then we can leave." Instead of turning around to go, she walked backwards into the bedroom and only turned when she was out of view. She looked for a jacket, thinking she had them. Well, she had tons of it at home, not here. She came out without it. He raised a brow. "You came back with nothing." "Because there was nothing." She waited for him to take the lead. "Ladies first." "No." She shook her head. He sighed. "Whatever you're busy hiding from me, can't be hidden for long. You know me." He smirked and strode ahead.

She said innocently, was she that scared or she was doing all that on purpose hiding behind pity faces. "O..okay, I-i will stay at the door, j..just right behind you." He stuttered.

Her face had gone a little pale and her lips were parted slightly like she wanted to say something, but no words came out. “What is it?” I asked her, confused. “Why are you looking behind me like that?” She didn’t say anything. She just raised her hand slowly and pointed. “Who are those people?”

As she was standing behind the artificial balcony nobody noticed it till then. She was so confused that she didn't find a single way to reach the exit avoiding everyone’s gaze. .

He answered and opened the door. I did not answer him. I walked ahead of him but I could feel his eyes on my back. "So Cindy do you have any plans tonight?" He started. "Yes, why?" I asked. "Well, I just like to invite you for a bonfire party tonight. Before the big event tomorrow, you know, just chillin'." I heard him say. But before I could answer, one girl in a red hot bikini bumped into me, like she never saw me at all. She looked straight to my back!

One was on her knees behind me, her eyes filled with something I could not quite tell. While there was another one beside me and Bella. What the hell was happening? Why are there two of them?

She walked toward the door with calm and confident steps. Didn't look back. Didn't hesitate. Didn't care. I just stood still staring at her retreating back.

“This isn’t over.” Behind me, she chuckled, th e sound following me like a shadow. “Oh, Luca. It’s only just beginning.”

She spun on her heel and she marched out of the study, slamming the doors behind her. I stood behind the desk, my chest rising and falling in deep breaths as her words echoed in my head.

In the end, Nathaniel and his mother brought Helen and the boy back. Helen was protective of her grandson. "Nelson will always be my grandson. No one's going to push him around as long as I still breathe." She kept giving me looks that said I was an evil witch who cooked children for dinner.
