They walked side by side along the well-lit gangway. At the end of it, a four-seater golf cart was waiting to drive them to the DaCosta family house.
All Kate could see for miles and miles were trees, flowers, shrubbery, and pockets of streams. Finally, they came across rows of bungalows painted in bright colors.
They passed a grocery store, a farmer’s market, a school, a clinic, and a mini-mall that housed a movie theatre, a boutique, a unisex hair salon, a spa, and a fast-food café.
