I have never learned as to why but it was pretty rare and it’s the thing that my stepmother has always been so keenly interested about. Red eyes are different. His eyes are swirling with glowing red not the cooling aqua like my William’s did when Wayne was trying to come through, but Westley wolf ….. oh gosh no ….. his wolf had glowing red eyes. I closed my eyes cursing myself for allowing this to happen trying to get my mind straight so I can figure out how to stop this hallucination and hoping I haven’t completely lost a chance to be with my mate.

But, as I went further, it even hurt the more. My wolf halted directly at the front of something ahead. It was a water; somewhere I had never seen before since birth. I had never come out and went this far. Guess rejection did so many things. My paws walked forward, looking inside the water. A white wolf reflected back to me. Through the water, I noticed the change in the color of my eyes. They were reddish. Red signified a wolf’s anger and I had it now because I was angry with my mate. I was angry with the world I lived in for misunderstanding me.

Alpha Ryder raised the wild wolf up and threw him across the forest and the wolf broke the Red Moon Pack border entering their territory and causing the Red Moon Wolves howl loud. Alpha Ryder held my hand tightly as he tried to carry me, but surprisingly I was very big and heavy. He struggled to carry me on his arms and I stare at his red eyes. I didn't know what colours of eyes I was showing to him, but he looked at me with so much peace and relief.

Then it lay down and kept snarling at Tyr. Tyr only realized that figure was a black wolf at that point. There was very little difference in appearance between this wolf and the other regular wolves outside of Helsby Mountain. However, it was one size larger than the regular wolves. Furthermore, the wolf’s eyes were bright red. It had murderous intent leaking out of its eyes, especially after Tyr stabbed it. Howl, howl, howl! The wounded wolf was howling toward the air, and there was a dangerous aura that came from all directions.

However, my wolf could hear her weakening heartbeats and breathing. "Nathan... Is that you?" he said in a faint tone. "Yes, dad. It's me..." I cut off my words, completely stunned and dumbfounded. "What's wrong with your eyes?" Then I deliberately dragged my glimpse to Vladimir's spot and found the same thing. Both of them were alphas of their respective packs. And the last thing I remembered is that they both have reddish-brown eyes. But from where my wolf is standing, both of them were already carrying and displaying glimmering cold yellow.

I nodded. “Well, they usually have almost the same physiques as normal wolves, except for their all black eyes. But these recent ones have more dark veins around their body, and they have dark red eyes.” Flashes of what I saw last night before all of that chaos immediately came into my mind. Those red, wild eyes behind the leaves… “I think I saw one of them,” I said to the second in command.

That was his wolf, peeking through and announcing himself. I sized him up. Is he doing that to scare me. Well, it is not fucking working cause I will beat his ass and I will humiliate him.

The rogue's eyes were locked on mine and its snarl was already deepening. As I slowly stared myself at the pond beside my, reflecting under the moonlight, I was stunned. It was a wolf unlike anything I had ever seen. I wasn’t like this before from the way I remembered. My fur was a deep, shimmering red. It was the shade of embers right before they burst into flame, and faint streaks of gold shimmered when the moonlight caught me. Also my eyes, they weren't my normal brown. They also glowed faint amber, like molten sunlight.

I grunted; the skin on that side felt like it was being branded by fire, and it was melting. I quickly looked at the mirror again to see that my face was intact and not melting; the red eye kept glaring at me. But something caught my attention; inside the eye, something was dangling inside. I moved closer to the mirror, taking a very close look. The thing looked like a pendant, not just any pendant but a red one with a scribbling on it. Then, as if time shifted, the red pendant wasn't very close anymore, but I could still see it in the eyes of a wolf inside my right eye—a red wolf.
