I was locked in. White. The walls were white. The ceiling. The sheets. The room smelled like bleach and something deeper. Like blood. Like antiseptic. Like survival. Then I felt it. My face. Wrapped. Bandaged. As if someone had tried to patch a shattered vase with gauze and hope. My skin itched under the layers, tight and raw. My chest felt wrapped in something stiff. My breathing ragged. What happened? What the hell happened? I squeezed my eyes shut. Willed my mind to rewind. Rewind. Rewind.

Hunter returned, holding a plastic mixing bowl in one hand and an application brush in the other. Inside the bowl was a frothy blue mixture that reeked of chemicals strong enough to make my eyes water. I recoiled slightly, nose wrinkling as I waved a hand in front of my face. “What the hell is that?” I asked, eyeing the suspicious concoction like it might come alive and eat me. He smirked, setting the bowl down on the vanity in front of me. “Powdered bleach. Gotta lighten your hair first so the pink sticks better. Otherwise, you’ll just end up with a muddy mess.”

"Excuse me, but I need to use the men's room." Thelia nodded, giving Asher a knowing smile. Asher quickly made his way through the crowd towards the restroom, grateful for the temporary reprieve. As he navigated the dimly lit corridors, a strange sensation began to settle over him. His vision blurred slightly, and his head felt heavy. It was as if a thick haze had descended upon his senses, clouding his mind. He shook his head, trying to clear the fog that seemed to cling to him.

With Blair's safety lingering in his thoughts, he made his way to the bathroom. Inside the bathroom, the warm water cascaded down on his body, washing away the remnants of sleep and revitalizing his senses.
