Chapter 121 Blake’s POV My head felt like it had been split open with an axe. I groaned, running my fingers through my hair as I finally pried my eyes open. For a few long seconds, I could not understand where I was. The room was dim, the curtains half drawn, letting in only thin strips of pale morning light, and there was a sharp and unfamiliar smell in the air. My mouth was dry, and I frowned and pushed myself up slowly, ignoring the pain that was pulsing through my temples.

I went back to my desk. Sat down. Pressed both hands flat on the surface. My phone buzzed immediately. Daniel. How are you. Fine, I typed. Noah. What. I talked to him last night. I sat up. He called you, I typed. Midnight, Daniel said. He said I reconsidered and I stopped and I need to see him. A pause. Noah he stopped because he wants to see your face. Chapter 1 Alina's POV “Where the hell am I?” I struggled, the blindfold around my eyes stopped me from seeing anything “Someone help me.” I cried out but I heard no response, all I heard were the echoes of my voice. I lay motionless on a damp stone floor, my body trembling with weakness and pain. The cold from the dungeon-like room seeped into my bones, yet it was nothing compared to the hollow ache inside my chest. Blood pooled beneath me, the once steady rhythm of my heartbeat slowing, each pulse weaker than the last. I could barely lift my head, but I didn't need to.
