Icy blue runes filled her vision. The rogue snapped and thumped against the runic shield. Eli winced as he tried to keep up the magic. “Snap out of it!” Eli shouted. Peggy looked at them and then stepped back from the shield and started running up the hill. EEEEEUUGH!!!

" I try to concentrate and see a Blaze figure in my head. I try to find out what Blaze sees right now...where his whereabouts...and what is how condition. I closed my eyes and concentrate harder...what I See .. is the same as what Blaze see .... And Blaze is seeing.. 'What the F.....!'

Third Person's POV Silence took over the room as the two continue to stare at one another. The only thing they can hear is the sound of their own breathing as well as the loud pounding of their heart. The first one to blink is the lady in white before she closes her eyes for a brief second as she vanishes into thin air. Aimee's eyes widened in surprise as her body moves on its own, her hand stretches trying to reach the lady. A feeling of desperation took a hold of her heart as she frantically search around the room trying to find her.

When Victor opens his eyes, there are spots in his vision. He blinks, trying to get them to clear, but then groans with the effort. God, does it seriously hurt to blink? But then he realizes that it’s not the blinking that’s causing the pain – that the pain was there already. It comes, sharply, with every breath, with every beat of his heart, which he can feel pounding in his head and his chest and his veins. Victor groans again, turning his head to the side, pressing his eyes closed – doing anything he can to fight against the pain – anything he can to lessen it, ignore it, move on from it –

Blake POV The burning sensation under my eye wakes me from the slumber I was in. Immediately I try to move, but my hands are restrained and so are my legs. I attempt to open my eye, but I am unable to; only one of them opens and my vision becomes blurred. What the hell?

THIRD PERSON POV Crescenta tilted her head back, baring her neck to her man as he obeyed her whispered command, his lips grazing skin like a promise before biting into it as though she were ripe fruit herself. Lumina arched against the table edge, her masked face tilted toward the candlelight as her man kissed trails of fire down her throat and over her breasts, exactly where she had demanded. Dahlira trembled as her man bent her hand behind her back, pressing her forward against the cleared surface, feeding on her shoulder, her spine, each touch an order she never had to give.

POV: Julian Vane-Moretti The approach was silent, a low-altitude glide that felt like holding one's breath over a fathomless abyss. The "Blind Spot" emerged from the Mediterranean fog not as an island of rock and soil, but as a jagged shard of obsidian rising from the sea. It was a masterpiece of architectural camouflage, a fortress of reinforced polymer and smart-glass that mimicked the turbulent reflection of the waves.
