Kael POV The violent purple light disappeared. The grand sanctuary became quiet again. The mechanical click from the frame stopped. I lay flat on my back on the stone floor. My chest rose and fell as I stared at the ceiling. My eyes hurt from the flash. Bright spots floated across my vision, making the carved arches look like they were melting. The heavy feeling in my lungs faded into a dull ache, and the cold numbness beneath my skin slowly retreated until it settled back into the lines on my wrist.

Bloom pov I looked around the plain field with daisies surrounding me . I was expecting to find myself in a circle of flames but I'm not . I guess I'm lucid dreaming again . This is the worst time to be in a trance or maybe this time I'm completely dead . "Not you again ,"I whine when a flash of white smoke burns before my eyes . A silhouette of a womanly figure appears before my eyes and then within a split second her body finally materializes into flesh . She doesn't smile at me tenderly instead she gives me a pursed look .

Her Pov: Someone's touching me. The sensation pulls me from the depths of sleep, and my eyes flutter open. At first, the figure before me is nothing more than a blur, shrouded in shadows. But as my vision clears, the features sharpen, revealing a face I didn't expect to see. My breath catches in my throat, shock rippling through me like a cold wave.

POV RUBY The Maldives faded into a smudge of orange fire against the black horizon. Nevan didn’t look back at the burning villa. He flew the VTOL with a cold, mechanical precision that made my skin crawl. The neural bridge was a jagged mess; every time he banked the craft, I felt the phantom pull in his muscles, the surge of adrenaline that was currently acting as his only fuel.

Aurora POV Numb. I’m numb. My eyes flick from Logan to Violet and back again. My eyes itch and I feel like I can’t even blink in case someone takes them from me, too. The clip of Luca … one second he was there, the next. Gone.

Light-POV "What does that mean..." i heard a distant voice. My eyelids were still closed and felt as if they weigh a thousand pounds. "It might be more that just silver..." some one else answered. The voices were still so distant when i tried to open my eyes. Opening my eyes felt like a task harder that any other. But i managed to finally split them open. "She is weaking up." I heard a mufled voice coming near me. I had to blink my eyes several time to adjust to the sudden light, but still needed my hand to move up and cover the light to finally see clearly.

POV de Elara The biting chill began at my fingertips before surging into a dull, agonizing roar in my lungs. I convulsed, coughing up a mouthful of river water choked with shards of ice. Then the rhythmic percussion of the waterfall at the cliffside had faded, replaced by the heavy churn of the lower River. I forced my eyes open. My vision was a crimson blur, stained by the blood seeping from a gash on my forehead. Above, the sky was a bruised charcoal; around me, the frosted riverbanks swept past in a dizzying smear of grey.

First Person POV – Saphira Consciousness returned like a bruise slow, throbbing, and painful in all the wrong places. Cold seeped into my bones before I even managed to open my eyes. Not the soft, natural cold of night, but something sterile… engineered. Weaponized. My lashes fluttered. Darkness. Not complete darkness no, worse than that. A soft white glow pulsed from somewhere above me, too dim to see the room clearly, too bright to let me hide from anything.

*Warning - Contains triggering content regarding bullying* Phoebe’s POV I stare up at the starry sky, placing the palms of my hand flat against the thin concrete railing. The stunning visuals of the moonlight that was reflected against the surface of the lake almost reminding me of the painting inside Blaze’s study. I clutch Blaze's white shirt tighter around my body to protect it from the cool breeze of midnight. The stars twinkled and glowed bright and for a moment I wondered, how it would feel to lie down against the plush furry carpet that cocooned my feet in its warmth.
