DAHLIA Bringing the cup of milk shakes to my lips, I slowly typed in the words; 'SCORPION'S EYE ORGANIZATION' into the search bar. Biting my lip, I watched several images appear. There were eighteen logos in all. I picked up the card from my desk, gazing at the logo on it.....a scorpion with it's poisonous tail end curved in a perfect arch where a flaming eyeball was located. I shuddered, placing the card on my desk. My gaze rested on the screen of my laptop.

“How many people have you killed, Blue... Iris?” Her eyes suddenly widened, lips parted, then she gulped, but the gun remained pressed against my groin. “H-how d-did you know?” Her question was hesitant and wary. Huh! I could distract her. “My mom had a flower shop. Of all the flowers, she chose iris to bring home every day and placed it in my room. As annoying as it is, I liked the blue one. Your eyes are blue like an iris flower. They remind me of her.”

If she alarmed these two demonic beasts, a sneeze of them would easily blow her up into pieces. Roar! An earth-shaking roar rang out from the distance. Lava poured out from the crater, stone trees fell down, and a terrifying demonic aura swept across like raging waves. The weaker demonic beasts within dozens of miles blew up. A monster that was as tall as a mountain and covered in red flames appeared in the distance, moving fast toward the Stone Tree Forest. It had the head of a lion and the body of a tiger, yet its enormous head was blue in color. It had a pair of enormous eyes shining with golden light, a wide mouth, and sharp fangs, looking very brutal and ferocious. It was a Blue-headed

The flames did not burn or hurt. “What is happening?!” Theodore got up and grabbed the pan of the counter. He stepped past the demon, who hissed at him. He walked back, ignoring her, then held the pan in front of me. In my reflection was a young woman with 6 inch horns that curled toward my ears, dark silver wings with a blue tint to them, blue flames all over, and one right azurite blue sparkling iris, and one left silver crystal sparkling iris. Both had a black obsidian sclera and pupils. My hair was a black jade with a blue shine where the light hit. A different color than the flames, but the same blue tint that was on my wings. He just went on a rampage for no reason, destroying every demon in sight with a swing of the sword he held. The aura coming from that sword was like darkness itself, pulling everything in. Just a touch from the blades and everything dies. He looked like a god, especially with those eyes. I couldn't forget those eyes. In them, I saw a darkness that never before existed. It didn't seem possible to. He was a walking void.

The group exploded in bewildered murmurs around me. "What?" With my voice barely audible above the escalating commotion, I managed to murmur. A woman emerged from the shadows as Derek turned away. When I saw her, my breath caught in my throat. Her eyes and blue hair were exactly like mine. She reminded me of a mirror, but there was cruelty in her smile that I hoped I would never see in myself. Blue merely blinked at him, her expression vacant, as if she were a ghost drifting through the world, untouched and unbothered by the chaos around her. Damian, who had been seated in the passenger seat, caught sight of the scene unfolding before him. Alarm surged through him, and he swiftly exited the car, rushing towards her. "Blue!" he called out, gripping her shoulders to turn her towards him. But the moment he looked into her eyes, his own widened in horror. They were hollow, devoid of life, reflecting a pain so deep,it felt Like, it could swallow him whole.
