Blurred Vision Upon Waking Mga Nobela at Kwento

The first thing I remember is laying on that bed with my arms flat against my sides and how difficult it felt trying to open my eyes. I felt as if I needed help opening my eyes. And when I did open them, it required energy to open them up again after each blink. What I saw was blurry. Silhouettes of people gathered around me. I didn't see their faces clearly, but I could sense that they were agitated, turning to their sides and looking at one another from time to time.

I know I should be having a hangover from the alcohol that I consumed last night but the only hangover that I have right now was a mental and emotional hangover.

Rover pov A cold splash of water wakes me up. I try to open my eyes but my right eye refuses service. The vision in my left eye is blurry and lacks colour. LAUREN'S POV My eyes slowly slid open, the faint sting of light forcing me to squint. At first, all I saw was a hazy blur, the outlines of shapes swimming before my vision like shadows under water. My breath came slow and uneven, and it took me several seconds before the realization hit me — I had passed out.

She came over to me and shined the light pen in my eyes and I blinked against the brightness. “How bad is it?” “The medication takes the edge off of it, but we are working our way up to an 8 out of 10 even with the pills.” Her smile turned to a frown. “Your pupils are a little slower to respond to the light. Have you been sleeping well?” I shook my head. “I get about three to four hours a night. During that time, I see…or dream…flashes of things I don’t remember. Sometimes I feel and can’t see. Sometimes everything is blurry. But I just wake up in a cold sweat.”

I mopped off the sweat that had covered my brows. Today was a different one. I had flashes of things I couldn't understand. Sometimes when I look at the vanity mirror, I see a blurry image, very unclear. I try to refocus, to see the image properly, but I always ended up with a splitting head that makes me feel like ripping off my head.
