Blurry Eyes When I Wake Up Novels & Stories

My eyesight became blurred and I fall on the bed, drifting into sleep. I didn't wake up until the next morning.

🦋 ??? 🦋 Consciousness slowly seeped back in, and the world surrounding me was blurred. I groggily opened my eyes, the brightness overwhelming, and it took a moment for me to adjust to the light. My body felt heavy, my muscles weak, and my joints stiff. Every movement was a struggle. My mind was foggy, making it hard to focus or think clearly. As awareness grows, so does confusion. “What happened to me?” I thought.

I mopped off the sweat that had covered my brows. Today was a different one. I had flashes of things I couldn't understand. Sometimes when I look at the vanity mirror, I see a blurry image, very unclear. I try to refocus, to see the image properly, but I always ended up with a splitting head that makes me feel like ripping off my head.

I opened my eyes but with the sunlight shining my eyes, I squinted my eyes to refrain any sunlight coming to my eyes and not get my headaches any more worse. I turned to the other side and opened my eyes a little. It was blurry and I couldn't see anything. I closed my eyes tight again and opened my eyes slowly. The blurriness slowly fades away. As the blurriness ran away, a familiar shirtless human was sleeping at my side of the bed. Oh no. Oh no no no! What happened last night? Why don't I have a memory of the night before. Please don't let this be what I think it is.

Kristy POV. I wake up with a massive headache. I rub my hand across my forehead as if with will ease my pain. My vision is blurred. I blink my eyes trying to get my vision sharp again. When I finally can see where I am, I realize that I am in my old room. How did I get here?

SARAH I woke up with a jolt, my head pounding like a drum. The sharp pain was unbearable, and my vision was blurry. I tried to blink it away, but everything still seemed off, like I was seeing through a fog. I felt nauseous, my stomach churning in waves that made me want to throw up.

My sobs became whispers, and soon my whispers faded into silence. With that same broken position on the floor, I cried myself to sleep. The next day I woke up to the morning sun bright and shiny, with warm rays spilling into my room. Normally, I would have smiled awake, stretched my arms and greeted the day with cheer. But not this morning. When I opened my eyes, the room looked blurry from the tears that had dried on my face. My head ached from crying too much. I dragged myself out of bed and looked at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes were puffy, with dark circles under them. My hair was a tangled mess.

There, she groaned and blinked her eyes many times to adjust to the brightness around the surroundings Trying to focus her eyesight on her room, she rubbed her eyes. Then she removed some of the morning glory she has on her eyes. Every morning after waking up, she was trying to look fresh even after waking in such a bright room. When she already had a fine sight compared to a blurry one earlier, she immediately moved out of her bed. Then, she proceeded to her window's curtain to open them wider

I woke to cold air biting my skin and a pain in my neck like I’d slept wrong for days. My eyelids felt weighted, my mouth dry and tasting of something metallic and wrong. I blinked, forcing my eyes open against the dim light that made my head throb, and the world slowly swam into focus around me.

My mind usually doesn't work and freezes in morning and it needs a good beverage dose to resume its functioning. With blurred vision and intoxicated walk I trodded towards my bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror taking the support of the slab so that I don't end up falling on the ground. With closed eyes, I fluttered around my hands in search of the tap. Getting hold of it I quickly opened it and rested my hand through the chilled water flowing from the tap. Sprinkling some water on my face I finally opened my eyes, and got the opportunity to witness my badly swollen, half sleepy, intoxicated and dumb morning face.
