Novel & Cerita Blurry Eyes When I Wake Up

The first thing I noticed when I opened my eyes was that everywhere was blurry. I blink, feeling tears rush down my eyes due to the pain of trying to clear my eyes. I blink again and the ceiling comes into focus, it's a hammered glass that houses several florescent bulbs. The hammered glass is surrounded by a white pop ceiling that hurts my eyes. I shut my eyes and try to think of where I could be.

She came over to me and shined the light pen in my eyes and I blinked against the brightness. “How bad is it?” “The medication takes the edge off of it, but we are working our way up to an 8 out of 10 even with the pills.” Her smile turned to a frown. “Your pupils are a little slower to respond to the light. Have you been sleeping well?” I shook my head. “I get about three to four hours a night. During that time, I see…or dream…flashes of things I don’t remember. Sometimes I feel and can’t see. Sometimes everything is blurry. But I just wake up in a cold sweat.”

Elora’s POV I woke up to the pungent smell of what seemed to be a herbal medicine invading my nostrils. The room was silent apart from my heavy breathing. I slowly got up and lifted my eyelids. I squinted in an attempt to sharpen the blurry image surrounding me. However, a sharp pain stung my eyeballs as soon as the light hit them. It felt as if my whole eyeballs were dried up. It gave me some discomfort making me blink a couple of times in an attempt to wet it with my tears. Unfortunately, it didn’t help so I ended up rubbing them. That was when I noticed that no matter what I do, my vision didn’t seem to enhance at all.

When I open my eyes I feel like I have woken up from a deep sleep. My vision is still blurry, and I have to blink my eyes a few times to make out my surroundings. I see blurred figures running about as my sense of sight is starting to return. The ringing in my ears slowly subsiding as well once I am able to get my bearings back. The first thing that I see is my mother, who is firmly holding my hand and yelling something at me, “-phy, she’s awake. Call Sylphy!”

I felt my head ache when I opened my eyes. The weight of my head and I was really dizzy. I also can not explain why I am nauseous. I even frowned because the sunlight from the glass window on the side of my bed hit my eyes. I could do nothing but wake up. "Oh no!" I rubbed my forehead as I realized what time it was. I did not set my alarm so I forgot I had to wake up early.

Iris I struggled to open my eyes, but my eyelids felt heavy, and my vision was blurry. When I finally managed to pry them open, the world around me was hazy. Confused, I closed my eyes again, trying to clear the fog from my mind. I opened them a second time, and my vision was clearer, but I realized that something was amiss. I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through my back, making me gasp. I reached around and felt a thick layer of sterile dressing covering my skin.

My breathing was slow but rasps. My body strolled back to consciousness. My eyes felt very thick as if an extra weight laid on them. Each motion I made to open my eyes, my eyelids felt like they were tearing them off but I managed to open them and then came another challenge-my vision was slurry. Unclear as my sight was, nothing felt recognizable.

AMBROSE I woke up at nine in the morning with the sun already up above the horizon. I forgot to close the curtains last night and the bright morning light hit me right in the eyes. My eyes burned almost the instant I opened them, and while they were struggling to adjust from the brightness, I had to blindly rush towards the window just to close the curtains and bring control to the brightness. I walked back to my bed still feeling heavy and exhausted from what happened last night. I know I should be having a hangover from the alcohol that I consumed last night but the only hangover that I have right now was a mental and emotional hangover.

Slowly my eyesight became blurry because of the teardrops that gathered there. "Did I choose wrongly?"

When I wake up, it feels as though I've been hit by a ton of bricks. My head is dizzy, and my vision blurry. The events leading up to this are foggy. I don't understand where I am, or what happened. I try to move my hands, which is when I noticed that I'm chained to a bed. I attempt to sit up, but my head begins to spin, forcing me back onto the bed. I try to look around the room for any clues. But my vision is so blurry, that it's hard to distinguish anything familiar.
