Blurry Vision When Waking Up Novels & Stories

*cough, cough*. I rub her back, trying to smoothe her, not wantingher to wake yet, as I squint my eyes open to glance at the time but they are all blurry from just waking up. Blinking a few times to clear my vision but this just makes them sting as I too start to cough. The room is so dark and murky looking, I can't see a thing around me so I close my eyes and try to go back to sleep at this early hour, feeling so groggy and tired still.

I waited a little, finding a book, before I went back and removed the teabag from the warm water. I began reading as I sipped my tea slowly. I wasn’t very tired, and my body felt strangely tense tonight, but I couldn’t figure out why. A moment ago, I felt fine. I sighed, drinking the last bit of tea before I decided to head to bed, but I kept tossing and turning, feeling strangely warm. I sat up, rubbing my eyes, before I noticed the world was turning blurry in front of me. It kept going in and out of focus, as if I couldn’t see. “What is happening?” I whispered.

Lucy’s eyelids fluttered open, the world around her a blur of colors and shapes. For a moment, she struggled to make sense of where she was, her mind still clouded by the remnants of the dream—or was it a nightmare? She couldn’t tell. Her head throbbed like it was being hit by a hard object. Her body felt like it was weighed down by a thousand stones. I woke up to a strange smell , the room was stinking of everything horrible and couldn’t I comprehend it, maybe because my head hurts a lot, I couldn’t reach my head, I couldn’t move an inch, my vision was blur, I blinked over and over again until I was able to see clearly.

I just have to rest and then i will be fine. But suddenly my vision bacame blurry and my steps wobbled. And then i lost my balance due to unclear vision and dizziness. I was about to fall but then a strong arms saved me from falling. I tried to see the person who saved me falling but due to my blurry vision i can't see anything. After lot of struggling my vision got little bit clear and i was met with a pair concern blue eyes. I instantly knew who he was but the question is what is he doing here???

Derek's POV Beep. Beep. Beep. My eyes snapped open, and a sharp, blinding wave of pain immediately spiked right behind my forehead. Everything was a blurry, out of focus smudge for a second, the morning light coming through the window hurting my retinas until my vision finally sharpened.

My vision is blurry and drool sticks to the side of my mouth, training down my cheek and dropping to the white sheets under me. I moan, wiping it off with the back of my hands as I blink repeatedly, trying to chase away the urge to drop back onto the bed and sleep. And that's when it hits me. I place my palm on the bed and force myself to sit up immediately, my heart jumping into my throat. I throw the covers aside, crawling off the bed as one thought continues to play in my mind–
