Did I hear you right, Bettany is unconscious right now. What the hell happened? I heard Bub scream from the other line and before I could talk again he hung up the call. I know any minute now he will just appear here and I hope that time the doctor is already here.

BOB The food at this hospital was a joke. “I said I was hungry, Ícaro... not keen on getting poisoned by this slop,” I grumbled, pushing the tray aside. If it were me, I would've smuggled a sandwich for him. You're on my enemy list, Ícaro. “It tastes like wet cardboard.” Ícaro, as usual, didn't move a muscle except to raise an eyebrow. “It's better than nothing, Bob. You were shot five days ago. “Fuck. You have a fever! You’re burning! Note to self, never trust when you say you’re fine.” “You’re getting too worried. It’s not that bad. I can handle the symptoms. I’m really hungry, though. I do have a hankering for some grilled meat. I saw the fruits and oatmeal that they got for the attendees inside. I think I need more than that.” I bite my lower lip shocked by my sudden big appetite. I wrap my arms around my torso and bend at the abrupt surge of ache in my abdomen area.

Sarah bursts into hysterical laughter, amused by her joke. I chuckle nervously, attempting to play along. "Alright, three hamburgers, fries, and slushes coming up!" Ruth announces, placing the tray on the round table and taking a seat. "I think I'll visit a clinic today. I feel sick, and I don't want to fall ill right before our test next week," I share, expressing my concerns. "Oh, okay. Do you want me to drop you off?" Ruth asks, munching on a couple of fries.

I insisted, my voice steady despite the rising tide of discomfort. He ignored my words and moved his hand to my forehead, a gesture that made my discomfort even more pronounced. Just then, my stomach chose that moment to embarrass me with an audible grumble. "You're not fine, bonita," he said, his tone firm yet concerned. "You have a slight fever, and by the sound and look of it, you’re starving."

A loaded burger with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mustard, ketchup, and mayo. “Thanks Mi” I say then looking to Lucy who finally has seated down next to me to eat her lunch. I pinched her ribs. “What?” she shrieks at me as she rubs her ribs. “Do you always have to be loud?” I whispered to her. “How else would those airheads hear me?” Lucy says as she smiles back at me. “So… Mr. Rouser’s class?”

I hear them chattering in the background. Another deep breath, then, “Fuck.” I slowly raise my head and I see them looking at me, Bob has his mouth gaping with a chewed pizza showing. I said it again, louder. “Fuck!” They all look at each other, then they start grinning, then they laugh. “No fucking way.” Liam blurted out. “YAS!” Bob stands on his knees like he just won a marathon. His hands are raised, the pizza he’s holding flop on his wrist but he doesn’t mind. “WE JUST MADE GREG SAID FUCK!”
