Bonnie's POV. He wanted to kill me, I could see it in those, violent brown eyes of his. My mind told me to run but I was too stubborn. I wanted to apologize and let him know that I seriously had no hand in whatever happened, I was just as confused as he was and thought I fucked a stranger. I was horny, which was why I allowed it to happen, otherwise, I would still be a virgin now and to think I lost it to Jeremy of all people, the man I hated so much, was an irony.

Chapter 21: The Doctor's Visit Bella looked around the room once more. The vampire had given her time to get used to her environment, which she was most grateful for. The flashbacks of what happened the previous night kept hitting her in the head. Finding out Lucas was her mate, the rape, the rejection, escaping from the pack, the attack from the rogues—her heart skipped. Those weren't rogues. She could absolutely remember that those were her pack members who had come attacking her in full force.

“D-Don’t stop.” He kissed along my jaw and down the curve of my neck, driving me closer to the edge. My body was buzzing. He pressed the heel of his palm back to my clit and sent me clear over the edge. My vision blurred as my muscles clenched and spasmed uncontrollably. Knock! Knock! Knock! A sharp gasp flew out of my mouth. I snapped my head toward the door and then back at Arthur who appeared just as bewildered as me. “Ella? Arthur?” a soft voice called from the other side. “It’s me, Bonnie. I think I found something you guys should see. It may involve your bond.”

Bella: My father’s face fell when I said this, and I couldn’t tell if he was relieved I didn’t kill her or if he didn’t want it to be true so he could once more uphold the award for the father of the year. “Apparently, vampires cannot inject werewolves with a poisonous venom, and I know you are aware of this,” I said, and he attempted to speak, but I held up my hand. “Bonnie’s body was half-drained when I got into that room, and when I bit her, she died because someone had already killed her.”

AVA'S POV “For a queen you are, you're getting a bit too comfortable with these humans,” Rowan whispered, his breath tickling my skin and his voice husky and laced with a hint of warning. My gaze narrowed, eyes flashing red with a hint of danger as I took in his words. “And what makes you think so, my love?” I purred, my voice dripping with sweetness as my fingers trailed his bare chest down below to his hard member. Of course we were lying naked in all our glory, skin flawless yet had a pale color to it, and this was absolutely normal being vampires.

“You’re still swollen Ma Cherie, yet you want me just as much as I want you.” Lazarus pulled away, his fingers slick with my arousal as he licked them clean. He smiled wickedly. “I’ll see you later, don’t miss me too much.” “Highly doubt that.” I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “Wasn’t talking to you.” he replies, darting his gaze between my thighs. My cheeks heat, glaring at him as he left with a triumphed smile. The only person who wanted to see my demise is Bonnie. She willingly spilled my secrets in hopes of replacing me.
