I grabbed a romantic novel from her collection and started to read it for her. Did I ever tell you guys that my wife is a huge fan of romantic novels. Yes, you heard me right she had made her personal collection of romantic novel. A big shelve in room is filled with her novel and she read them whenever she got time. I looked toward the pillow where he hid the book. When I was sure he was in the shower, I crept over and lifted the pillow. I gasped softly at what I read on the cover. “From the Heart: Thoughtful Ways to Melt Your Wife’s Heart.” I sat down weakly on the bed and looked at the book in my hands, my chest swelling with something warm and strange. He was reading this just to learn how to make me fall for him more? I chuckled softly. “He’s so cute.” Shaking my head, I carefully placed the book back where he hid it and walked to the kitchen to start preparing our breakfast.

”Michael wants us to get married as soon as possible. “Maybe he can't wait to have you as his bride. Anyone won't want to lose you, Charlene.” She gazed steadily at his face. She halted for a moment which also prompted him to stop walking. “What is it?” She shook her head. “Nothing. I'm thinking if what you said is right or you're wrong.” “You know I'm always right when it comes to you. I once told you that you're like a book, you get to find out as you keep flipping through the pages.”

My book selections was rather kinky and bondage I had a thing for those type of books. Meanwhile, as the men talked, Harriet glanced at Quinn and uttered, “Your books saved my marriage.” Quinn raised her eyebrows before asking, “How so?” Harriet giggled and blushed. She replied, “When things became a little boring in the bedroom with my husband, I asked him to reenact the spicy scenes with me. I know I shouldn’t say this, but things have never been boring ever since.” Quinn blushed profusely. She thought, ‘I probably wasn’t supposed to hear that.’ Anyhow, she realized her mother-in-law was a friendly and open-minded person. She smiled and responded, “I’m glad my books were of help.”

I blew out a breath of frustration before grabbing her hand and pulling her close to the spot on the bed where I ordered her to sit and read, a spot extremely close to me. I snickered as I passed a sly glance at my wife, who had opened the book to read, “Can’t wait to get a thigh massage from my little wife!”

I try to take it out but it is stuck. I twist it and tug at it again a bit strongly than necessary. It comes out and goes fly out of my hand. Great. I am already finished with my work so I get down from the ladder and look for the book. I see black colored something under the chair and bend down to see if that is the book. I take it out to see what secrets this book holds that Rudra had to put it away like this. I have evil grin on my face as I get my hands on my new weapon to tease my husband but when I see the front title of book I am confused. It say, 'To make your spouse happy…..'

I flipped the phone over, placing it face down on the nightstand. The lights went out. The room fell into darkness, save for a thin sliver of moonlight filtering past the edge of the curtains. "Alice," I called out softly. "Yeah?" "Do you regret marrying me?" "No." "Not even after going this long without a full night's sleep?" "At least it's better than you screaming in your dreams for so long." Silence settled in for a while. Outside the window, some unknown insects were chirping. "From now on, I'll put the herbs in myself. You don't have to taste it. I'm not afraid of the bitterness."

I ran out of strength and lay still, staring up at the ceiling. "Never thought I'd end up being called the other man online. I'm begging you. Just let me go. Go back to your family." She shook her head, the words spilling out. "I'm divorcing Randall. Once you're better, we'll get married. You'll be my only husband." A laugh slipped out before I could stop it. "I don't want that anymore. I'm not marrying you." "What about our kid?" she shot back, her voice rising. "We have a baby together. Don't you want him to have a real family?"
