Book It's A Wonderful Life Novels & Stories

only the successful can say such because someone is willing to listen to them. I made sure I put the money together in one place that was safe until my wife and kids came back home then we see the goodness of God together. I seeked wisdom again now it was a continuation of the gold sack of life book. I was having a verbose time in the literature filled book I read it and was done in an hour thirty minutes time. It was a moment of rest and time track was lost I felt cheated. The captivation was just beyond my wildest thoughts.

Did he sense something. Did he notice that I wasn't really reading the book? I thought, looking at the book in my hands (My Life Saver by Lilian Finn). What a weird coincidental name for a book. Twenty minutes past eleven p.m. When did time fly so fast? I survived today, tomorrow is going to be another day. "Let's get ready for it." I said, resting my head on my pillow and hugging the book, My Life Saver. ***Day eleven***

Maybe the only fun I had there was flying with swords. Then the future galactic world? Honestly, out of all my ninety-nine reincarnations, I didn’t reach that kind of world yet or even some apocalyptic world, and I’m thankful for that. [11:59 pm] It really felt like I am having some sort of a countdown for New Year. But in my case, it's a countdown for my New Life. Yes, let's just call it new life and not death. It sounded depressing to call it like that.

Alex's POV Life is like an unwritten book, where you get to be the star of your own story, crafting it day by day. And like any other book, as you travel through the pages, it's the highs and lows that keep you - the reader - enthralled, making the tale worth telling.

The wails of a child tore me from sleep. "Look at our son, Lily. Isn't he just precious?" Derick smilingly cradled a baby in his arms, standing at the foot of my hospital bed. Blinking away confusion, I took in Derick's youthful features and realized: I had been given a second chance at life. I had come back to the very day they had taken my child from me. The thought fueled a surge of adrenaline that pushed the pain aside. I reached out, desperate to take the baby from Derick.

She looked stunned when they brought her into the room, something we're all used to when someone outside the family sees Pop's largess for the first time up-close and personal. "Wow, what is this?" She gravitated to the books that lined one wall, all classics, most of which were collector's editions. "Is this an original Herodotus?" She pulled her hand back from the volume making the twins laugh, and me smile. She acts like Pop and Uncle Garrett with books. They swear the rest of us are heathens because we don't all genuflect before the greats like they do.

This person provided a ton of key info just to bring down their competitor. And that person's last name was Carver. After thanking the police, I left the station. On the way home, I remembered a weird phone call I'd gotten once. The number was unfamiliar, and all I could hear on the other end was muffled sobbing. I lifted my head and looked up at the blazing sun. Its warmth washed over me. "What do you feel like eating today, babe?" Julian asked, his eyes crinkled into a smile. "Anything you make will be perfect," I said.

The room fell silent, captivated by the book's sudden appearance. "It contains the record of both the good and the evil that each person has done. This book is the ultimate judge of our actions, as it holds the truth of every soul." "The Book of Life will guide us in determining the outcome of this trial," he continued, his gaze piercing as he looked at me. "It will reveal the truth of your actions and help us reach a just verdict."

"Do you know the password?" I sighed and rubbed my temples. "No, that's what I've been trying to find out. It has something to do with the inscription my mom left me in this book…but I can't figure it out for the life of me." Simon set the laptop back down on my bed and grabbed the book instead, reading it's words out loud. "To Alice: Life is beautiful, precious, and worthy of awe." His eyes then turned to me. "What have you tried?" "Respectlife, passionate, trust…You name it, I've tried it." I groaned. "I have no idea."

"Though as entertaining this is, the affairs of the still living are none of my concern. You'll have to speak to my opposite; Life." "So how do I find Life?" I asked, and Death shrugged, twirling his scythe as if it were a baton. "No clue. I deal with matters of death." "...you're of no help, you know that?" "I've upheld my deal, so I think I've helped way more than necessary. I'm just glad I didn't go fishing for your soul. Otherwise, I would've declined." My jaw drops at his comment, and he shrugs, fading away.
