The ice in my very veins melted as he grew even taller than he normally was and more muscular, ripping Zephyros's tunic in the process. I staggered backwards and tripped on a branch. I fell backwards on my rump and even the sting was not enough to take my eyes off him. He exhaled and the nearest tree turned to ash immediately. i scrambled backwards on impulse and the branch i had tripped on got caught in his web. He opened his eyes and twin pools of fire peered down at me. I didn't need Luna to tell me i was not looking at Zephyros anymore...no. Not entirely. What stared back at me was the Fire Dragon.

Roman's breath stuttered as he sucked a breath in. “Yes, I will be your queen,” Roman said, forcing his voice out as loud as he could without crying. Ezra smiled as he brought the Omega's hands to his mouth and kissed his fingers before standing. Roman's lips part when Nadja begins speaking again, recognizing the tongue of the ancient dragon language. His eyes immediately filled with tears as he looked at Nadja in shock. The ancient Elder stood tall, holding an old thick book. Scales lined the book, creating the cover. On the front is a perfectly shaped baby dragon's first claw that looks as fresh as the day it was shed. It symbolizes the beginning of a dragon's life, a perfect symbol for th

Following that, a huge black dragon was seen leaping from the water while dancing and roaring above Tyr’s head. Tyr made a gesture with one hand. A black book was seen floating in his palm. All kinds of letters surged up from that book. They then leaped into the center of Tyr’s eyebrows. “The Dragon Taming Skill!” Tyr closed his eyes and sensed the mythical feeling brought to him by the book. After some time, Tyr opened his eyes once more, and a flash of light shot out from his eyes. Tyr spread out his hands and snatched something out of the air. The black dragon’s body were immediately grasped by a massive palm that abruptly descended from the sky.

Frigga, however, let out a soft scoff and turned to leave. But the moment she turned around—before Heimdall could even react—Odin stepped in front of her, blocking her path. He then took her hand and led her back to Heimdall’s side. Heimdall immediately straightened and said respectfully, “Your Majesty.” “Looks like you’re all having quite an enjoyable conversation,” Odin said casually, picking up a silver goblet. “As for the dragon’s appearance, many books describe it differently, each more inconsistent than the last. As for the blue exterior—that comes from an elven seer’s prophecy of what it will look like thousands of years in the future. If I’m not mistaken, what you read was the illust

My hands were trembling, so I paused and took a few deep breaths to steady myself. These had better work, Tega, you fuck. That's what I thought as I pressed the rounded tips of his magic sticks together. He had neglected to mention exactly how they worked. There was a flash, and a trail of sparks, along with spurts of bright white smoke. A very large, very unfriendly dragon turned its massive head towards me. Mother of all the Gods. Teeth. Who knew that dragons had so many teeth? They were bigger than me. Its head was triangular, a huge mass of bone and scale and ... teeth. There was a horn where the nose might have been.

"She's a Witch!" The moment the gem slipped from my grasp, a sudden void consumed me, the magic dissipating with my relinquished hold. Stepping back from the booth, a profound stillness cloaked me as I observed the crowd converging. Panic etched itself onto the faces of men, women, and children alike. The murmurs of discontent swelled into an angry chorus, echoing through the air. In the distance, the clamor of approaching soldiers added urgency to the unfolding scene. A ripple of anxiety coursed through me as I trembled, gazing one final time at the old woman. "You glowed," she whispered. A mirror hung on a twisted post, and my reflection revealed tendrils of cerulean sparks dancing on my i

Just sell your skin, it must be more expensive,] I sarcastically told Ignis who is a magma dragon. [It's delicious! True dragons don't change their skins like those lowly animals!] Ignis answered proudly while raising his head. [What you call a lowly animal is already at the same level as a dragon like you,] I sneered again while holding back my laughter. [We five true dragons cannot be compared to other creatures, let alone those lowly animals. The Dragon level and the true Dragon are very far apart,] [Uh five? I had time to read a book that mentions that there are 7 true dragons and 7 main spirits.] I was quite surprised by his confession which did not match the contents of the book that I

Please note that the events of this chapter took place in book 2. --------------------------------------------- LOCATION: The Supernatural Realm AREA: Ignere Forest The shake of the earth, and the pungent smell of burnt grass after the residue of magic, was a clear sign the dragon kind was far from extinct. The King of Dragons stood at the edge of the large plain laid out before him. The field lay barren and wasted as the last patch of dead brown grass was scorched out of existence. Across this field were twelve large pits and in each of these pits were two dragons battling it out with fire, ash, magic, and the will of a warrior.

I'm not crazy about everyone knowing that my powers, but I know that any ally of our pack is safe. Saige is going crazy in my head when I start smelling the most delicious smell. It smells like sandalwood and mint. I was lost in that scent when the most beautiful dragon I have ever seen lands in our wood line, lets off two children, and after getting dressed approaches us. The man is an Adonis! He has jet-black hair, the most gorgeous emerald green eyes I have ever seen, and he towers over me! The man must be close to seven feet tall! He's tall enough and wide enough to wrap himself around me at least a couple times. Saige keeps saying, "MATE! MATE! Move closer to mate!" I said, "I can't! He

Once they were settled in he whispered, "I will cast to you the memories that I have and then you can always ask more questions." Emma snuggled up to him and felt happier as his mood shifted and then she closed her eyes as he started to cast his memories to her. At first there was nothing but mist and whisps of clouds and within the center was a fire burning brightly. It was hard to look into the burning flames but almost imposible to look away. For upon the dias, stood a dragon that grew ever more powerful as the fire burned hotter. The smoke and flames appeared to form the dragon and his scales reflected the firelight. His scales were cerulean blue but shimmering in darkness they appeare
