There was a balcony straight through with a rocking chair and a thick blanket draped over the back of it. This will take me forever! Sighing, I started on the left and will work my way around. I soon noticed that they were organized in categories. Surely, prophesies will be under history so I made my way to the history section. I found four books, Prophesy of the 1900’s, Where do Prophesies Come From and What are They?, Are Prophesies Real, and Understanding Prophesies. Looking at the couch, I grabbed the ottoman and pulled it up next to the left side of the couch and made myself comfy. I will probably be here awhile.

Prologue II: Pyre, 3113 Pyre Av 5, 3113 Stephan Caliphus, King Everything was on fire the night he finished the book in the back room of a borrowed house. He laid his glasses down on the desk in front of him and rubbed his tired eyes. The crackling of flames could be heard as the city burned all around them. The blood curdling screams of the men in the streets where they died was enough to make the blood of the fiercest warrior run cold, but he was a man of empathy and it hurt him more than it did the others.

Softly placing it on her arm as she nods off to sleep. I leave the sleeping child, making my way to Brixtius's office to work on the house accounts. I softly knock on the closed wooden door. Brixtius's command is muffled, but he was telling me to come in. I enter the room brightly lit by room's wall sconces, and I hurriedly take my seat in front of his desk. Picking up the stylus and looking down at the ledger, I continue my work from the previous evening. A few more scrolls were added to the pile from yesterday. Still, because I quickly understood how the accounts work, I can record and balance everything from today.
