No touch of cement was there, at least not visible to the bare eyes. And inside was filled with tons of books. The bookshelves were touching the ceiling, and there was a wooden spiral staircase by which a book lover could read a book from the top of the shelf. There were many chairs-tables in one corner and lamps set over the head, indicating that the place was for those who want to read comfortably. The place was segregated with translucent glass, the word 'reader's corner' written in white bold letters on the glass walls did not escape Maze's eyes.

As they entered, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, followed by a section offering meals. The space inside featured book displays, a reading area, a lounge area, and a selection of creative products for sale. What caught Mindy's attention most was a promotional wall near the entrance displaying a poster of the book "Seven Days". There were bold words like "Best-seller", "Popular", and "In Demand" plastered all around it. Inside the reading section, "Seven Days" occupied the prime spot on the central book display. Most of the readers in that area were holding copies of it.

I looked up. Adrian stood there in the doorway. He looked at me, his eyes moved around the room, he stepped in, and walked to the shelves. His finger moved slowly over the books, until one caught his attention, he pulled it out, read the back, and held it. He looked at the empty armchair across from mine, he just sat down and opened his book. I watched him settle into the chair, he crossed one leg over the other, unhurried and completely at ease. I look over to where Primus had been sitting not so long ago. What's this? Primus left something behind. A book? Was this the gift he meant to give me? It is a small thing, dainty. I cannot imagine someone as large as Primus ever reading this because how could he ever hold onto it without breaking it? It looks so precious, and fragile. Gently, as if lifting a rose from a vase, I pick up the blush pink volume, marveling at the delightful texture of its silk binding, the title embroidered in gold. While I might not know many words yet, I know enough that I can read the title of this book.
