Chase.

Chase.

It’s just not me, not something I can even do. I have never been one for the chase, but now just might be the time to learn. *** Time passes, and I stay the same. Things change, but I don’t. Everyone moves on, but I wouldn’t know. Being alone has become my home. The solitude brings solace. The quiet is rejuvenating. The seclusion affords too many perks. I take what I want and I want only what I need. I’m a lone wolf, no need for a pack, no need for a mate. And that will never change.

OFF LIMIT: FOURTEEN NIGHTS WITH MY HUSBAND'S BEST FRIENDS

OFF LIMIT: FOURTEEN NIGHTS WITH MY HUSBAND'S BEST FRIENDS

"I've never been outside Italy. But I imagine it must be strange to come to Positano and spend your days alone?" "Sometimes people need space and time away from everyone to be alone," I said, the words feeling more honest than I intended. Amante studied me for a moment with those perceptive brown eyes. "You look sad, bella. Like someone who came here looking for something but isn't sure what." "Maybe I'm just looking for quiet," I said softly. "Then you came to the right place," Amante said, gesturing around the empty library. "This is where I come when the world gets too loud, when I need to remember there are still places where people think instead of just react."

The Devil's Embrace

The Devil's Embrace

I was about to give up but, a moment later, he starts speaking, “The same reason as you I guess.” “And what’s my reason?” I raise an eyebrow. I don’t have any particular reason. So, how could he give one? But, he doesn’t hesitate to spat, “We find solace in being alone.” I lift a brow. It might be true but I don’t necessarily fond of being alone. There are no people in this world who want to be alone for the rest of their lives. I might be a lone wolf but, even then I do want to find somebody who I can connect with. Meanwhile, Cain doesn’t seem to want one. He deliberately ignores the rest of the world.

Eventhough there is some grammar errors and typo, overall I really love this novel!! The story is amazing and I like the author writing style. I also like how they describe things in the novel especially the settings 😍 I could really imagine how it looks like. Can’t wait for more updates!!

at first i thought it'll be the casual CEO-fell-in-love-with-his-employee story LOL. but i thought wrong. the storyline and the writing style here are very nice. the author really did a good job in creating the characters here. their background information is well explained and very detailed.

The Lonely God

The Lonely God

Interesting Facts about the Lonely God that nobody asked for 1. Not many people know this but The Lonely God is an individual book in the trilogy Of Me and My Mate. The first book in the series is called My Mate is My Enemy, which is the story about Nefret’s grandparents. It was my first ever werewolf book on Wattpad. The second book in the series is called Chasing My Mate which is the story about Erika’s parents. You need not read the previous two books to read The Lonely God but if you are curious and have some penny to spare then you’ll find the books on Dreame. You’d have to pay to read though.

Alpha Ethan

Alpha Ethan

Liana’s POV Ihave been alone since my mother died. The loneliness has always spread through my body like rot. Even though I am continuously surrounded by people, it has lurked beneath my skin and threatened to consume me. This morning, when I wake up alone, it feels different. It’s an alone where I can hear my own thoughts; they mingle with the gentle patter of rain against the thin window. For once, I don’t have to perform to anyone, because there are no ladies-in-waiting ushering me out of bed. Instead, I can lie bundled up in the soft quilt in a room filled with intriguing piles of books and sweet-scented herbs.

Rita's Journey from Solitude to Spiritual Awakening

She taught them to find solace in the rhythms of nature, to listen to the whispers carried by the wind, and to nurture their own inner light. Though a Mirror Darkly

Though a Mirror Darkly

This is just a scrap of poetry, and these are just stories. Stories. That’s all. I’m not a coward. I’m not. Still, I fold the piece of paper and stick it back into the box. *** Closing the door behind me and locking it, the early fall sun feels warm and friendly, helping to diminish the chills those crazy stories set loose in my bones. As a reader and writer I of course need solitude, but I also love being with my family. Right now, I want to be with them more than usual. The most haunting thing about those stories . . .

Betrayal under the wolf’s moon

Betrayal under the wolf’s moon

Until I couldn't anymore. That night, about a week or more after the dust settled, I sat in the library, turning page after page of a familiar book. Just as Lira had said, solitude had become my new best friend. And this library, still under construction, was the only place where I felt truly at peace. I spent most of my nights here, reading under dim lighting books I'd read before and those I hadn't. It was better than rotting in my bed and letting insomnia eat me up from inside out. I knew I wasn't okay.

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

Julian listened without interrupting, nodding slowly, his expression softening as though the images were entering him too. When we cleared the plates and the apartment grew quiet again, I carried the memory of the walk like something small but unshakable. As I lay in bed, the sounds returned in fragments—the bicycle bell, the laughter of children, the humming of the florist. I realized then that solitude was not emptiness. It was its own form of company, one that reminded me the world would keep offering itself if I only slowed down enough to notice. And I promised myself I would.
