It shattered with a loud crash, the pieces of ceramic scattering across the kitchen floor, food splattered against the white wall, leaving a dark stain.
Nathan stared at the broken plate, then back at me, his eyes were wide, like he was almost shocked.
"There," I said, my whole body shaking now. "Is that personal enough for you?"
