ADELINE POV As I opened my eyes, I couldn't stop my tears from falling. It is now clear in my mind what happened in the past. The main reason I was in the Romanov mansion was because his wife, Adeline, helped me escape that night. I remember what happened that night in crystal-clear detail. When I choose to run away from an old man who did bad things to me just because my parents couldn't pay him their huge debt. He took me by force. I was abducted by his men, and I was raped.
