Borrowed Blood

Borrowed Blood

During my three-year-old son's preschool physical, his blood type didn't match mine or my wife's. I had just printed the divorce papers when I suddenly heard my son's voice. [This disgusting man is so stupid. He's raised me, his own little brother, as his son for years and still has no idea!] [Lol, hurry up and get divorced. Once they divorce, I can cling openly to my real mom!] [And divorced men are unwanted anyway. From now on, every dollar he earns will be mine!] My wife was still anxiously explaining, "Honey! I really never betrayed you! Do you really want a divorce?" I looked at my son's tightly closed lips and excited eyes, then tore up the divorce papers instead. "No divorce. S

Beware Dear Ex, I’m Back For Revenge

Beware Dear Ex, I’m Back For Revenge

Her eyes welled up with tears, but I didn’t care. “It’s too late,” she whispered. A hollow, terrible silence filled the room. I clenched my fists. “What do you mean, too late?” She wiped at her tears, her voice trembling. “During the transfer… the heart was accidentally contaminated.” The remains of my fragile heart finally shattered into a million pieces. She swallowed, voice thick with emotion. “The hospital hasn’t reported it yet, but… it can’t be used anymore.” My shoulders shook again as I cried, realizing that I had just gone back to square one again.

Love the story but the beginning of each chapter the 1st page repeats what was from the last page of the last chapter, which isn’t fair when we are paying for chapters. If that was not happening and the spelling and some of the sentences were correctly written this would definitely be a 5star story.

Ruthless Hearts

Ruthless Hearts

“The guys I borrowed from.” My heart dropped. I knew that Victor had taken out a loan. It was about a year ago, when his mother was terribly ill. The loan sharks in our area were known to be very dangerous– especially when their money wasn’t returned on time. I never wanted him to go that far, but it wasn’t like I had five thousand dollars laying around to give him for his mother’s surgery. He didn’t have a choice. And to think that she had ended up dying anyways was just cruel.

The Second Goodbye is Forever

The Second Goodbye is Forever

But before I could reach them, a little foot stomped down hard, grinding the pills into the floorboards until they were crushed and embedded in the dust. "Shameless! Thief! Get out of my house!" Her voice pierced through the air like a shard of glass. A deafening ring exploded in my ears. My artificial heart maxed out under the strain. I couldn't hold myself up anymore—I collapsed, and the past came flooding back. Maya had been sickly since birth. By the time they found her heart condition, there was no time left to wait for a donor. So I went in for the match quietly, and without a second thought, gave her my healthy heart. I had an artificial one put in its place.

Farewell, My Heart

Farewell, My Heart

“I'm begging you, Chanel, lend me some money. I ran out of immunosuppressants three days ago, and now my chest hurts so much I can barely breathe…” He wept bitterly, pointing at his chest. “Your family gave me this heart. You can't just give it to me and then leave me to die!” Chanel tossed his hand aside coldly, her voice filled with disgust. “Get away from me. I was blind to think you were pitiful back then. “If you hadn't cried constantly in your room, Connor's leg wouldn't have been broken. If you hadn't stopped taking your medicine on purpose to trigger your heart condition, Connor wouldn't have lost the heart transplant.”

The Heart They Stole: Rebirth of the Scapegoat Bride

The Heart They Stole: Rebirth of the Scapegoat Bride

To them, it was the mark of a thief—a reminder that I had remained safe while my twin sister, Elena, had been snatched away into the dark. “I’ve already given him my kidney,” I whispered. My throat felt like it was lined with glass. The surgery from three weeks ago still throbbed, a dull, biting ache in my side every time I took a breath. “The doctor said I haven’t healed. If you take my heart, I won’t wake up.”
