Bodies slammed into the ground with bone-cracking force. Screams and snarls tangled together until I couldn’t tell which belonged to Sunrise warriors and which belonged to rogues.

Dried completely I dressed myself. “I will give you happiness,” Frost asserted, and I smiled at him. “Are there female Frost warriors?” I inquired. Shaking his head slowly he said with a playful smile, “You can be the first but you will have to fight and win Boris.” Cooking my eyebrow I asked curiously who Boris was. Frost climbed out of the river chuckling. After he dressed he leaned his face before mine and I could see the stubble on his chin. “Boris is my pet polar bear,” he said and I snorted while I laughed but then paused.
