I removed it and ripped the bottom then I wrapped it round my foot so it would stop the bleeding and perhaps it wouldn't hurt so much, I proceeded to wrap the shirt round my burst then I heared an alarming sound.

IVY’S POV I’m not sure what hits me first — the sting in my foot or the unbearable betrayal I had just witnessed. I look down, and a shard of glass from my award had sliced my big toe, and it is bleeding. I don’t move. My body is frozen, my breath shallow, and my chest feels like it’s being ripped open.
