Mr. President's Lost Wife

Mr. President's Lost Wife

"Look at this compass, Papa. Mama modified it so that the needle always pointed to the letter E. E is for Edmund. So, every time she face north, Mama feels like she's facing him. Wherever Mama is, she can always remember Papa Ed. Now, try to open your compass!" Lucas opened the new compass and frowned. Nothing had changed. The compass needle still pointed to N. "What's so special about this? It's an ordinary compass." "It was an ordinary compass! I intended to rotate the paper like Mama. But apparently, it was very difficult. I didn't understand how. So, I just left the compass as it was. I looked for another way to make it perfect." Lucas became more confused. Alice and Edmund were secretly

Rielle
Just like the other readers. I cried so much because of the father & daughter. It's saddening but also heartwarming. It's a great book. . I enjoyed Ed, Alice & Sky's adventure Now, looking forward to Sky, Louis & Emily's own adventure.

Finished this sweet and relaxing story. Ed really behaved like a dick so his motive doesn't hold up. Sometimes a bit too elaborate so I skipped a bit but Sky is no doubt a marvelous kid. I was curious about Alice's mindset which was not really explained but Sky made up a lot. Worth reading!

Broken String of Fate

Broken String of Fate

Jaymianne asked her secretary whilst placing another tea. Cheslea crouched beside her and held her hands. She smiled, reassuring that her boss deserved everything accomplished in her life. "What makes you think that?" "I don't have siblings and my parents died leaving the bankrupt company to me. My life has become a mess ever since I met that man." "You deserve everything, Jayme. The money that passed to you and the company you restored. We don't have much staff but we still operate because of the clients who trusted you so don't think that you aren't worthy of your achievements."

Tides of Passion: The Pirate's Curse

Tides of Passion: The Pirate's Curse

The motion revealed the subtle grace beneath his imposing stature, and she caught her breath, feeling a mixture of gratitude and trepidation as he re-entered her line of sight. He held the Gryphic compass, its brass casing gleaming under the lantern light, a soft luminescence radiating from within as it pulsated gently. The light caught her attention, drawing her in as though it called to the very essence of who she was. “This helped anchor your mind before,” he explained, his voice rough with emotion, weighing heavily against her heart. Amelia felt a flutter of hesitance as she reached toward the compass, her fingers trembling at the proximity of the object that seemed laden with memories j

A Crack of Faith

A Crack of Faith

I was crossing the street when a motorbike was speeding and I almost got hit good thing I was so fast to back away… and even though I’m in the ground right now and shock about what happen I was relieved that it wasn’t anything worse, and I’m kind of thankful that I made Gen take care of the twins while I run an errand. What is he doing here? And he’s with Kiel and that girl of course. “it’s nothing.” I s

WITHOUT WARNING: Book 2 Of The Redemption Series

WITHOUT WARNING: Book 2 Of The Redemption Series

My skirt was ruined, and my brain felt like scrambled eggs. That man—Knox Michaels—had just flipped my entire world in under ten minutes. I tried to move, but my knees buckled slightly. Knox caught me without hesitation, one strong arm around my waist, the other already reaching for napkins. He didn’t say anything, just handled it. Cleaned me up gently, respectfully. Wiped his face with ease like what he’d just done was no big deal, like taking me apart with his mouth was just part of a regular Thursday night.

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

My fingers brush over cracked spines until they stop on one bound in faded blue leather. When I pull it out, dust swirls in the air, making me sneeze. "The Lost Packs of the Northern Realms," I read aloud. The cover bears a strange symbol – a crescent moon wrapped around a flowering vine. "Careful with that one, dearie." The voice makes us both jump. An elderly woman with silver-streaked hair pulled into a severe bun peers at us from behind wire-rimmed glasses. "Those histories are delicate. And dangerous, some might say."

Break the Bond, Burn the Bridge

Break the Bond, Burn the Bridge

Not in front of the pack. After I filed my resignation, I saw Alice one last time. She'd healed, but barely. Hair a mess, eyes vacant—like her wolf had gone silent. Then, right there in front of everyone, she jabbed herself with a needle. Blood streaked the metal as she whipped it around like a weapon. Her claws raked down her arms, splitting skin open. No one moved. No one dared. "This is your fault—all of you!" she screamed.

The Alpha's Flower

The Alpha's Flower

She said and handed me something that looked like a watch "What am I supposed to do with it?" "It's not a normal watch. It is like a compass. Follow the arrow, and you will find the book. Now go before we are too late," Joyce said, and I headed toward the house. When I walked up the steps to the front door, the guard opened the door for me. I walked in and looked around. I looked at the compass and followed the arrow. It was leading me towards some stairs. So I started walking up them and headed toward a hallway. There were a lot of rooms on the floor.

Beyond Broken

Beyond Broken

I took special care to hang it up before the wrinkles set in. Happy with my choice, I gathered all the bags to hide. I hadn’t noticed until I grabbed the bag the dress just lay in that there was a note. It was attached to a blue jean jacket and a pair of blue flats. ‘The jacket to hide the bruises and the shoes to complete the outfit.’ Signed DH My lips curled into a smile as pushed the clothes to the back of my closet with the note tucked safely in the last bag. I decided to take my grandmother’s bike to school the next morning. I took extra precautions to take the long way around the house to miss Rick, but that didn’t work.

Bound By Magic Or Fate? ( book one)

Bound By Magic Or Fate? ( book one)

Marcel moves closer to her slowly. “I want the same as you, the werewolves out of the witches’ lives. Alaric out of our home, Willow gone and no longer in control! They plan to get the vampires on their side and destroy the Monventla. I am the only person who knows where the book is; the spells are within it.” Marcel nods, sitting down. “What book might that be? The witches lost all of their written manuscripts centuries ago.” He looks at her waiting, Dan still stood on guard.
